Could you please list everything out that I would need for it? I have a parts truck that is a late 03 f250 with the zf6 in it. It has everything I need (I think). My truck is a early 04 and I wanna do the swap. Thank you again.
I took the plug and wires off the auto gear shift/tow haul switch and jumped the white/red to the red/yellow wire plugged it back into the column and got cruise and high idle back. Do it at your own risk if you don't have a clutch safety switch. Cruise will still work with the start wire grounded to the fender and disengage with the brake pedal and off switch.
@@Fordfarmer9700 thank you very much and yes i do not have the clutch safety switch hooked up to start it so my auto start still works i have it hooked up for the transfer case to go into low range tho
I see. I have an 06. 6.0 cclb 4x4. I did this same swap, but I put a manual case in when I did it. I got the transmission harness, but they sent me the wrong pcm. I also need the engine harness. The swap was a lot more involved than I thought, and without a donor truck it's been kind of a pain. The rear engine cover was on ebay at least. I had to get a different cross member. Tell me, are you happy with it?
@@nicholasadams6343 overall I'm happy with it. At first I wasn't due to some stuff not working etc but overtime I got it to where it all works. It's great for towing but slow getting out of the hole in normal driving which is whatever. I'd much prefer a factory zf6 lariat truck but finding a good clean one isn't an easy thing to do.

So would a late 03 zf6 out of a 6.0 f350 bolt up fine to a early 04 6.0 that had an auto in it?
What year is your truck and what color was the wires you spliced?
How did you wire up the temp gauge? I just did this swap and can’t find any info on the gauge
I got the pin out diagram for the 5r plug and I had a 6.0 temp sensor laying around which I got a plug end for and spliced it in that way
What wires in the dash did you do for the cruise control

No I don't I ended up swapping it off for an 04 pcm
