But I heard beta is not to stable especially for older macbookpro's.. Is that true?
If you pre-process your stems in the prepare folder, it might be doable. You can always try the beta and revert back if it doesn't go too well. I do want to mention that the Serato beta does come with a warning that it is not stable enough for performance thought
Windows here, but it definitely isn't as stable for me as 2.6. This is a beta and when you load it Serato says not to use for performances. It has memory leaks and bugs that need to be worked out. You could always keep 2.6 and install 3.0 in a different directory and test it out without effecting your old install. Since it won't effect your old install there's no reason to not try it out, I've having a blast with STEMS. If you do this, I'd suggest backing up your _SERATO_ folder just to be safe.

I tried to update to get it it wouldn't let me update and get it do I have to pay for that or can you send me the link that you download that software cuz it's not coming up on my computer I download it it won't open up but it deleted my old Serato

exactly... i mean all the hype over this thing that's been around for a while and still serato's version is far more limiting compared to what vdj offers in stems FX.
