Sets are made and kept running. As we see here there are 3 bankers but only 2 are working. 2 Bankers are sufficient for Express trains. And if the freight comes then 3rd banker is also turned on. And Yes Freight needs 3 bankers to climb the ghat.

Its quite far, firstly tak local from Dadar to Karjat, and then bus/local to khopoli and then taxi to bhor ghat
