      Exactly, so many memories! To be honest, this game still can keep you playing and it's unbelievable 😅

    I remember as a kid having a stalemate in a campaign mission : no money, no spice on the map, the last enemy turret destroyed my last unit.
    And then I realized that, when your last harvester gets destroyed, you receive a new one and a few credits, like 3 or 4. So I sent harvester after harvester to death to finish funding a unit already under construction and won the mission.

    this brings back good memories. I used to lay concrete as far as possible all the way to the enemy base then stack turrets on them. The enemy never really left their base. In some maps you could destroy their vehicles as soon as its produced.

      Haha yeah I remember now, there were a lot of tricks you could use like building a wall around a repair facility so the carryall was putting units back to the battlefield. We needed these kinds of help because of how intimidating the interface was 😂

      @@TheCrocwise the most incredible trick was to use the gas on and enemy vehicle (the heavy tank from harkoonen being the best) as Ordos and HOLDING the attack action until the "gas control" wear off, then you click the attack. The attack just ends when the attacked one dies, so i would click behind a 2nd building to be able to destroy 2 buildings (the 1st is not the original target).

    Cant remember when, but laid eyes on it when I was 12 or 13 on my dad's friends computer.....love at first sight. But a copy from this Japanese kid at my school for 5 bucks, it was on several floppy disks.
    Didn't realize there is a legacy and they have added right clicking and drawing boxes that were not present in the original. Hopefully there are some new levels too, I'm going to hunt this down now!
    Weird, but that graphics and sound are just as beautiful to me as before, gameplay wins in the end....not matter how much money big studio's invest trying to dress up crappy games.

      Oh yes, the sound design is spot on, and what is beautiful is that all of us have so many good memories associated with this game, nostalgia is real in this one 😊

    Loved this game, forgot the audio was mind blowing. This and C&C were my childhood. After that RTS got a bit clicks per minute focused for me.

      same here, until COMPANY OF HEROES showed up. Waiting still for Tempest Rising.

      Exactly, this and C&C were my childhood as well, high five buddy 😅Also Tempest Rising looks really good after playing demo version so I have high hopes as well.

      @@carlosnobrega8308 ha ha, completely forgot about CoH. Upgraded my PC to play that. CoH2 wasn't as much fun, too multi-player focused :(

    Being able to make a box to select multple units at once is a game changer here. You couldn't do that in the OG version.

    • @TheCrocwise
      @TheCrocwise  17 днів тому

      Yes, this is a huge quality of life as in the original you could select only one at the time 😅 There are many other QOL functions in this one as well.
