about reverse fishing, there are fish, that hunt bugs on shores of lakes and rivers, by spitting out water pokemon-style, and they do the corrective aim
What an episode! We got some great fishy lore, some Demogorgon shoutouts (and episode 200 hype) and Brian covers the stat block. I would also like to say that I finally joined the Dungeoncast Discord. The community has been really welcoming, and I’m even fortunate enough to have found a group to run a one shot with this weekend. Thanks TDC for providing some juicy lore and a friendly D&D community.
Well that's unfortunate. I bet someone has been messing with you internet. I'll find them and do gruesome things to them! Including sucking out their bone *merrow!*
Hey guys, another good episode! Hope y'all keeping safe in these trying times. I like the new trend of Brian reading the statblocks, makes your talking time a bit more balanced, does interesting things to your chemistry! While watching this, when you brought up the merrow's appearance I had an idea; You could add a picture of the creatures you are discussing in the episodes, the same you use in the miniature, to the top left or right corner of the video. It could help some more visual people!
I have liked and commented! I continue to serve the FINe dungeoncast! Greetings again milords, I am happy to receive yet another boon of knowledge! Hmm, merfolk eh? Who hasn't heard of the fabled sirens of the seas. Well no matter, no harm is caused by some fish people out in the ocean, at least not these fish people. And no harm in drunken sailors and fishermen perving on mermaids, what I will concern myself with however are these merrow creatures. My armor is not made for swimming, but it seems I'll have to get my own slippeys wet and search the surrounding coastal areas to assure there are no merrow threats. Between yeenoghu, juiblex, and frazurbluu, I have far to many demonic threats to deal with as it is. Till next time milords, I await next week as always. *grinds this episode up and snorts it up my nose* oooooh yeah, that's some good stuff right there boys. That's sure to get me higher than a melding myconoid. I like merfolk, not super complex, but a fun race. I feel like the niche of fish people is already kind of filled by tritons though isn't it? So I think I prefer a more traditional looking mermaid that looks half human. Though merrow seem rather cool. I don't have much else to say this week, can't wait for more SQS guys! Hope you two and josh and special guest jake are doing alright with how crazy everything is. Stay safe! :)
I actually have a half triton half merrow bard that I’m playing and My Dm loves it cause I bring out the chaotic nature of her merrow side when she’s emotional or pissed off. But when she’s in her Triton(on land) she’s composed and doesn’t like violence at all
Sunkensees that’s a great improvement that the whole community has been asking for. Without dark vision, I have my Triton use the “Light” spell that I flavor with an Angler Fish lure on top of his head. 🐠
I'm more beautiful than I am powerful. Lol Tridents for sure work under water cause if they don't I'd be mad about it. Hahahahaha You know we're getting close to episode 200 will? Oh shit did I say something? Oh dang I said something. Lol They're going fishing in reverse. Lmao
Actually Brian was right about the pronunciation of Merrow
about reverse fishing, there are fish, that hunt bugs on shores of lakes and rivers, by spitting out water pokemon-style, and they do the corrective aim

You all are going deep for these fishies. Guess you could say the scale of dnd is growing!
I find the fact that ashen isn't present, fishy...
I tried to draw cards from knowledge on this video, but got counterspelled by my wifi... 3 times. The *wavelengths* of my internet were *crashing*
Well that's unfortunate. I bet someone has been messing with you internet. I'll find them and do gruesome things to them! Including sucking out their bone *merrow!*
I'm sure they'll never see it coming. It'll hit em so hard, they'll drown
you need to cast your net wider
18:50 The Prince Nears. It is coming.
Keep up the good work gentlemen.

Wasn’t expecting a visit from the king this episode but I’m happy he appeared. Shoutout!
Would you guys consider doing a video on Hadar. I find the eldritch horrors fascinating
I second this.
I third this
PLEASE MY WARLOCK WANTS IT AS A PATRON AND I. HAVE. NOTHING!
if there isnt enough on just one for a Deities episode, an episode on a few selected Warlock Patrons would be very welcome

There’s a Merril Shallowpriest in the Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount. CR 4 with some spellcasting.
The mermaid sex joke just gave me traumatic flashbacks to The Lighthouse
Man. Me internet be crashing like the waves of the ocean when these guys summon Thassa
Thank you guys, love your work mate's hope you and your families stay safe

Time to go under the sea
Behold! The Centaurs of the sea
DnD needs proper sea centaurs. ICHTHYOCENTAURS!!!!
Tritons get Darkvision now thanks to Mythic Odysseys of Theros.
Sunkensees that’s a great improvement that the whole community has been asking for. Without dark vision, I have my Triton use the “Light” spell that I flavor with an Angler Fish lure on top of his head. 🐠
Do one on Hadar! Or any of the GOOs that aren't in other settings like Cthulu
Brian: “Oh dang I said something”
😂 😂 😂
Here for the pirates of Caribbean references
Great video! Oh and sea demons of dnd are the lIxitxachitls.
Are the merfolk in D&D able to change their tails into human legs when they're on land
Like Splash! with Darol Hannah?
Amulet or any enchantment polymorph continual spell
if not the gameplay will flop
Not by base
@@TheCinderfang Pardon?
Intelligence: eIGHt!
Gotta smoke that dank seaweed.
Nice
How come this episode wasn’t uploaded to iTunes podcasts?
User error. Its up now. Sorry about that!
The Dungeoncast no biggie I was just curious thanks :-)
Did you guys ever go back and do it a sea ogre episode?
Sleeves donated to the sleeveless?
Did sea ogres ever get covered in another episode?
Mermaids are scary! But...
When's SQS coming back?
