The Worst Part about Jaddar is that he's well over 300 at game start, he's already an old fart even by elven standarts, so you can't enjoy him for as long, compared to other elven rulers, that and the fact he's sure to outlive moth his wife and his daughter is a bit depresso.
And that's why I think elves are seen as assholes. For them, humans are like dogs who also build houses. You have fun with your dog, but it stops after 10 years, so you get another dog or move on. :/
In my first campaign i played Krakdumvror and ended up meeting\fighting The Jadd empire during the late game. It was a pretty strong opponent but, at some point, i noticed that they were getting weaker and weaker and that's when i noticed the Command (who was the military hegemon) eating more and more land...the later wars were completely insane. Moral of the story, Jaddari sound like a really fun nation but playing close to the Command gives me anxiety (i'm curious to see if they'll ever get some unique missions)
The AI command is doing well. I would also jump on the opportunity to jump on a weakened neighbor. ;) The Command are my favourite final boss in any game I play. It used to be France back in Vanilla.
The Command works really well as a foil in a Jadd game so you kinda end up having a rival for most of the game. By the time they're gunning for you, it's not almost impossible to beat em, too. They do sometimes conquer quite a bit of Rahen, though that only seems to happen if I'm not playing near Rahen
tip: to get a magical heir, do not take land from sareyand in the early war, beat money out of them instead, and use that to pay the mages for a ritual of conception Also do not marry your vassal hasr while heirless, you will get a human consort and thus a half-elf heir, with a quarter of a full elf's lifespan
Hey, do you know if marrying an elven nation as a human nation would be possible and if it would produce a half-elf heir as well? Getting a half-elf mage ruler sounds like a fun way up for some random adventurer.
There is no God but Surael and Jaddar is his Prophet I don't know how you managed to fit the Jadd Empire into a half -hour video but I commend you for your excellent storytelling whilst doing so
I found the start of my Jaddari game a little sad My Jaddar lived well into old elven age, he outlived his lover, their daughter and his granddaughter :( But at least he brought suraels light to many
Yea, as far as the elves are dicks conversation, I can understand their perspective to some extent. It‘s tough when humans have the equivalent life expectancy of cats.
Will you make a video about azjakuma? I find them kinda op if played right. By the time you get to the end of the mission tree you get +75% shock damage ( if i remember correctly ) , and you can also get like 60% siege ability ( again, if i remeber correctly )
I never found them op, them never being able to ally or have vassels hurts so badly, I recently played thme but at a point I had stupid ae, and would slowly lose land due to conistantyl being attacked sadly
@@pukebeard6406 i forgot about it too, i was talking about MTs that need a mage on the discord and someone pointed out that Rite of Conception was in the mage estate list
Beikdugang also has a surprisingly large mission tree. At least it was a surprise to me, cuz when I checked if Tianlou had any missions, they literally had none despite being a prominent nation for reuniting the region.
I've been waiting for this for months now, youtube didn't show me the notif so I only found about it now when I manually searched your channel. Damn you youtube!
I don't think so. I put it together about 10 years ago and my video card is buzzing like a helicopter. I am taking care of it and will eventually change, but nothing else. It does start lagging if I play a long time, but when that happens, I just reset the computer and it usually does the trick.
There is no god but Surael and Jaddar is his prophet. Your introduction of the Deioderan was marvelous, with the text from the missions, I need something was coming. It’s one of my fav country, even if the religion mechanics are almost useless. Keep the good work, Beikdugang, a new dwarf, Feiten, Azjakuma... your choice will be great.
Great video! Jadd Empire is a very fun playthrough! Right up there with Castanor in terms of empire building/map painting, well supported by the mission tree. Really enjoyed rebuilding the golden highway! For RP purposes, really love having a near immortal ruler that actually sticks around for a while and truly feels epic. Whats more epic than an immortal war wizard sun elf ruler of the jadd??
Yes, the golden Kobolds look interesting. This guy has a full let's play series on them, so it will take a little while until I get back to them. ua-cam.com/video/dkD-apU30pA/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Dwarfpete
You mentioned the largest mission tree being castanor, csn you do a vid on that one? Also just a straight hour of you going through mission trees would be cool with me lol.
Well, Castanor's mission tree is huge, but it is not very interesting. It's more of the same thing over and over again. Conquer, build a tower, conquer build a tower, pray to rnjesus, continue. It's simply not interesting to me at all... :/ Maybe I can weave it into something at some point, but not today.
Well, from my understanding this is a bulwari religion, not necessarilly an elven one. But hey, the cannorian elven religion got a rework in 1.1, as far as I remember.
Random tip for the Deioderan: If you don't want to savescum for the defection events (or you just want free troops) you can just camp your own land as the enemy WILL get the defection events if you wait long enough. Simply stalling 10 years is painful but taht way you dont have to sacrifice your whole army & manpower pool to do it. Also pulsing events can move you more towards the east/west, and if you switch from east estranged to west estranged it is really simple to end the deioderan diplomaticaly.
You think you might cover Frozenmaw? Their lore as a settled Orcish kingdom at game start puts them in a unique position compared to their green skin cousins in East Cann.
I feel I should. They are one of the more important nations in the lore. Yet, there are many other interesting nations I want to do first. They are quite vanilla otherwise. I would love to, but it might take a while.
By the Light of Sureal and Jaddar, what an awesome surprise to keep the Malevolent Dark at bay today Try playing Jaddari with harpy military, it is the most insane

I can't agree with you on 5:16. You say only use the tribal allegiance for 6 cav but getting the cav combat ability is 100% worth it. You're cav will do so much damage you can stackwipe armies twice your size.
Of course! But in my experience, expanding like mad takes a serious toll in manpower. Most of it is lost in sieges or by attrition. But if you have the manpower, go for it! Options are there to be used! :D
