Yo no way. Zak? Wasn't expecting to see you here. You don't know me, but you know my friend, Jean-Tae? I think you guys shared a room somewhere for a circus event.
Personally have a 3d printed version of the last one has a money clip attachment for cash. Coins I just throw in a pocket till I get home and dump them in a jar till I need them.
There are knock offs that work pretty well as well. The jump from $15 to $25 isn't that much, but there are knockoffs around $12-17 that are still great alternatives for the ones that costs much more. For example, the Ridge wallet costs $115-135. You could get one that isn't as well made for $15. Same with the ones with a button on the bottom that flips all the cards up and fan them out. Obviously they won't be as good as the original brand, but at a fraction of the costs some people could live with it.
This somewhat reminds me of "You buy a trash can from the store, they put the trash can in a plastic bag, you carry the plastic bag that contains the trash can inside to your house. You take out the trash can and dump the plastic bag in it.
So if you lost that expensive one and someone found it 1 they know you're well off 2 they've got your address from one of the cards and 3 here's the keys to let yourself in
Check out the Ogon wallets the original wallet of all the knockoffs you see at every store they are snow and dust proof. I had the Ridge which is nice but all your cards get dirty and scratched up.
I own this thing, it costs a lot but it's worth it. I've been looking for a slim wallet that can hold coins+bills+cards and this is the only one that suited all my needs. If you're gonna get one, be sure to get one with a button on it, so your coins won't fall out and the leather won't get bent as much.
@@gfort12 Projecting of what? I know what it's like to be poor, but you telling me that I'm projecting. I don't even think you understand what 'projecting' means.
Same here. It seems every thing I try (which means I spent the money) is missing something. I just found the Dango M series and the Bifold can hold 16 cards. I am writing the company to verify what the website states.
I bought the Vaultskin wallet about 3.5 years ago because of this video, and have loved it ever since. The strap still works and the leather has aged well. I appreciate the work you and your team do. All the best. Thank you!
The ridge wallets come with a lifetime warranty. $100 for a wallet that lasts for life isn't bad. I like the ridge because I barely feel it in my back pocket when I'm sitting which is a problem with other bigger wallets.
Gareth McGregor are u kidding? If it's true, that's crazy to me, it's like telling that no one uses a smartphone anymore, coins and cash are so important in my country.
It's almost required to carry coins since not many products are just in cash, it's usually like $5.99, or $9.99, and if you pay $6, or $10, you are still going to get change back unless you don't take any change which is stupid.
It's more of a convenience factor. If you feel you might end up losing it or someone will eventually steal it, then yeah, don't get the wallet. But some people are willing to risk it for the convenience.
I remember wallets from 15-20 years ago that my grandparents use to have, no card slots but they were able to carry lots of cash and the most expensive ones had a coin pouch, now they got rid of the coin push and even the cash part.
My wallet can fit notes, coins a ton of cards, keys and some documents, put it in my back pocket and cant even feel it. These shown here arnt wallets, they are card holders ^^
Lander De Mulder actually I always have more in my wallet than what it costs. Buying exclusive things is sort of a reward and motivation for working hard.
You need to look at a company called Trayvax and look at their line of wallets. I have the Element and it's the best wallet I've ever used. Leather and steel so they are extremely durable and versatile. Even has built in bottle openers and grommets to hook carabiners.
Auto Young I have the original trayvaxx and it is the best wallet I have owned. I believe they are rfid as well. Mine is aluminum and won't set off metal detectors either.
I paid 3€ for my wallet, it holds around 15 cards, alot of coins, cash, my licenses, some documents, a little first aid kit, and it's relatively slim. I've been using it for 3 years, I don't understand why people want to spend so much on a wallet, plus, many people, including me, still use coins/cash on a daily basis, so those wallets are completely useless :/
Yes? and coins are still made in 2017. Sometimes its easier to pay with coins and cash. What about stores who don't have Card Cashiers and take coins. I understand that cards are used probably the most but you can't disrespect the coinage
zombiekiller2112 Idk, maybe in The States or wherever you come from absolutely everything is automated, but here, in The EU we like our coins and you can't lead a normal day without using coins/cash at least once
Thanks Lew!!! This was a real quick down and to the point comparison!! I was going for the Ridge but after your demo the keeper better versions totally make more sense. GREAT VIDEO!!
None of these I can qualify as wallets. Glorified card holders, yes, wallets, no. A wallet has to serve the purpose to hold cards, yes I do agree, but it has to hold currency. Be that in bills or coins. None of these provide that. And until we live in a world that you dont need change for parking meters (for instance), these "wallets" will be something that you hold next to your real wallet.
AlphaPT Is it really so hard to believe that maybe, just maybe these wallets aren't for you and actually do work for a lot of people? Even with that said most of these wallets have money clips so you're wrong, they can hold cash. I have spent the last couple months using a wallet similar to the last one with no problems. For some people wallets like these can and do work, the world does not generate products that are solely useful for you.
George Hawkins Where do you keep your change? Or, in your magic world of wonder, where you assume the rest of the world lives and not me, coins do not exist?
AlphaPT This is what I'm saying, I live in the city, I literally require no change at any point. So yes, these wallets will not work for you, but there are plenty of people that don't use change anymore, hence why there is a market for these products.
+ George Hawkins I live in the city as well. And I have need for change at any given point. And I do get change when purchases for goods and services that do not require using plastic to pay for. Some services dont even accept plastic, like I've stated before. And you misunderstood what I stated. I'm not saying there isnt a market for these products. I'm saying that calling them wallets is a misrepresentation of what they can do for you. They are card holders. Nothing more, nothing less.
AlphaPT that's just playing semantics and the definition is just something that can hold anything that's legal tender. I don't come across any services these days that don't allow for using my card, I can't even think of any that don't allow for contactless either.
Get a driver’s license, and ID and a credit/debit card. Boom! You have the three most common contents in a wallet. I used to think cash are imperative. But when my city started having atms at every corner, I no longer see a need for it. Just withdraw or swipe when you need to buy something.
I use the Recycled Firefighter front pocket wallet which I think is around $20. I generally carry four cards and a thicker card tool in it and there’s a cash strap ton the backside of it. No special features but the shape of it makes it easy to get out your most commonly used card very easily. I rarely even take it out of my pocket when I’m getting out my card and putting it away.
I've had the Ridge titanium wallet for like 4 or 5 years now. Still going strong too. Nothing wrong with it no flimsy-ness no fatigue in the money clip or elastic card straps. I open beer bottles with it all the time. The Ridge is the wallet you buy for life. No more replacing your fatigued wallet every 2-4 years.
I've been using the Ridge Wallet for a little over a year now and I love it. I went from a traditional bulky wallet to money clips. I eventually picked up the Ridge Wallet under heavy recommendation and I will never look back. After a few days the wallet breaks in wonderfully and it isn't difficult at all to access your cards.
I thought the first one looked familiar. I bought it like two years ago, but had forgotten the name of it. After 2 years in my (front) pocket, it's not showing any wear at all, and it's still going strong. You can fit more in it over time as the leather stretches out. This is both good and bad, because if you have less money in it, it's not a snug fit. Oh well, I just carry another "card" of some kind in there now. It's been a GREAT value. I like it.
@@KuSQ3N well if you know anything about technology, hacking and how often financial information is stolen from stores/banks then you know what cash is for.
The best thing that the Andar Pilot has going for it is price. But that aside, put it up against the Secrid Slim Wallet. Secrid has the same (or possibly better) card ejector, plus a slick fold out to store money, receipts, etc while still keeping it minimal. Better design IMHO.
It's only bulky if you fill it with crap. but if you fill it with only 6 cards like all of these can do at best it isn't bulky. Plus a Normal wallet has the option for notes and coins that wont get lost.
Distopia79 yeah i agree,i had a lot of coins in mine it was bulky but when you remove them they are not really bulky,i also saw some really slim leather wallet, nothing better than a traditional wallet, but that is just my opinion.
How come no Trayvax wallets?! I use a trayvax contour and it exceeds in every way the ones you have shown! Top grain leather (the best), rfid blocking, holds up to 13 cards with (included now) extended strap, holds up to 10 bills, adjustable to fit card amount-cash amount), attachment loop, totally made in USA, tells you who actually hand made yours from trayvax and the craziest thing is 65 year heirloom warranty! And about the size of ridge wallet! Glad to go to front pocket carry and get rid of George Costanza wallet!!!
The vaultskin is a great wallet but the elastic that pulls the strap back down will break after a few months. The strap still works but you have to push your cards in to put the strap all the way back in.
I just got my Ridge wallet and I love it! I can snatch my card faster than any other wallet, and it has RFID protection. I picked up the forged cabin wallet, its so sick.

@@clayfacethelegend1604 already got myself a slim wallet, thanks! 👍🏽
@@hydrolopezz aw all good man, what'd you end up going for?
@@clayfacethelegend1604 just a simple slim wallet
None that redeem thing works. Your wellcome !!!
I like it.
Trying to find the Andar pliot wallet. Does anyone know when they will be back in stock?
Freddie W. or how much they cost? just says currently unavailable with my price
On their site just says out of stock
Available for purchase on amazon right now
they are $45
$37 On Amazon
You should do a review on some of the awesome smart wallets that have GPS trackers in them and the ability to connect to your smart phone.
What about CASH ?!?!??!
cash for what?
Hookers
Kusqen drugs
@@KuSQ3N well if you know anything about technology, hacking and how often financial information is stolen from stores/banks then you know what cash is for.
@@grizzlycountry1030 so if you get robbed? :)
The best thing that the Andar Pilot has going for it is price. But that aside, put it up against the Secrid Slim Wallet. Secrid has the same (or possibly better) card ejector, plus a slick fold out to store money, receipts, etc while still keeping it minimal. Better design IMHO.
You should review the SECRID wallets, IMHO the best wallets on the market!
TheErkey he has. Search his channel. That Andar wallet is a blatant ripoff of Secrid.
surprised he didn't mention Scrid at all .....
No money, just Amazon gift cards
Most of these wallets costs more than my paycheck
you need to work more! ;)
you need to grow more weed
Matt Hanlon working more is the fools way of making money. You need to make your money work for you.
Where do you work? Are you a rice picker?
He is probably Indian.
Love the pilot, I have been using it for a year now, the only down fall is the strap in the back loses elasticity
I'm guessing I might be a little late to redeeming those cards... jejeje
When the wallet cost more then how much you have in it
lol luxury wallets are the shit. I have a lv card holder and every time it feels like a subtle flex, but thats for me
How secure is the cash strap on the Andar? Like how securely does it hold onto the cash?
What's wrong with a normal leather wallet?
bulky
It's only bulky if you fill it with crap. but if you fill it with only 6 cards like all of these can do at best it isn't bulky. Plus a Normal wallet has the option for notes and coins that wont get lost.
no it ain't, it's still just fucking bulky.
Distopia79 yeah i agree,i had a lot of coins in mine it was bulky but when you remove them they are not really bulky,i also saw some really slim leather wallet, nothing better than a traditional wallet, but that is just my opinion.
SCP-087
The pilot is a knockoff of secrid, which is better. Check it out.
Exactly. And looks like Ander has stopped producing Pilot, smells like SECRID took some kind of action?
6:21 horse.
Gold
How come no Trayvax wallets?!
I use a trayvax contour and it exceeds in every way the ones you have shown! Top grain leather (the best), rfid blocking, holds up to 13 cards with (included now) extended strap, holds up to 10 bills, adjustable to fit card amount-cash amount), attachment loop, totally made in USA, tells you who actually hand made yours from trayvax and the craziest thing is 65 year heirloom warranty!
And about the size of ridge wallet! Glad to go to front pocket carry and get rid of George Costanza wallet!!!
2017 Was The Year of The Wallets !! 😂 Now is 2019 and I’m searching for videos about the best wallets and the majority are dated from 2017. 🤦🏻♂️😄
m-my coins..?
Same here I only use wallets that have a zipper for my coins. Hard to find but when you do, you feel happy
I've never had a wallet that cool for coins before. Used to just piling them in my jacket
"Who makes the world's best wallet?"
Well none of these ... Wtf
Will i have trouble for entering to a plane with some of these wallets?
If i remember it correctly than this's the first time Lew give out stuff on his channel
What If you want coins and notes...like a normal wallet will store
Hitler died in 1945? Donald trump was born in 1945
Coincidence?I don't think so
Mystery? Maybe
Hotel? Trivago
GEICO can save you 15% or more on car insurance.
Random Carp but we are farmers
Cats he was born on 1946
go and Google it your self
lmao "Trivago"
I was born in 1990?
Coincidence?!
Yes I was
I was gifted a Tribe 3.0, great card holder that is attractive, robust and light - it can also hold notes.
I don't believe they make the Andar wallet anymore. I've looked on their website and Amazon, can't seem to find it.
I have the Black one, and just went to get someone the Brown version for Xmas, but it's not there at present... Hopefully back on there again soon.
@@marky147 they have recently restocked on both amazon and their website. Get them before it's too late!
@@davidtran5719 Excellent news. Thanks for the heads up!
david tran gone again :(
Those are called card holders, not wallets, what's wrong with the people in the US?
Who came here from the airpod video
Dev Agrawal sure did
Yes I did
The vaultskin is a great wallet but the elastic that pulls the strap back down will break after a few months. The strap still works but you have to push your cards in to put the strap all the way back in.
Steam wallet's the best :D
World's best shitty sleeves*
try the secrid miniwallet
I've had the Ridge for about 2 years now. It's holding up well. It's the best imo
Lou, check out Secrid wallets
#secrid
It is Lew not Lou
Paulo Goulart I have a secrid wallet, amazing:)
Ok, sorry
Secrid wallets are amazing, light, cool, small and very practical
Lew's been using the secrid wallet for a while. He made a video on it
get yourself a genuine brown leather bifold wallet like a goddamn man and then focus on filling it up.
You should already have the money to fill it before buying a wallet.
I just got my Ridge wallet and I love it! I can snatch my card faster than any other wallet, and it has RFID protection. I picked up the forged cabin wallet, its so sick.
How much did they pay your for this comment? I'd love to get into the business as well😆
