From what i can see in this video, this survival kit is well-protected, You have really done a great job in enlightening people about this product, how to handle it, and its uses. Thumb up.
Thankyou great kit review. Bag (A) the fire striker slash saw blade would be for prepping the fire starters, as they won't take a spark as they come out of the packet. The tears in the bags at stop are to make it easier to open, but I like your idea of using a knife so as to keep them to boil water. Best actual survival kit I've seen.
I love that the first survival thing you listed for food was eggs. Lol 😂. I was thinking some other kind of foraged food but maybe I will come across a number of eggs. I hope I’m that lucky in a survival situation.
Back in the day though especially over the countryside, everyone had chickens. Very common in urban areas now too. I have several friends who have chickens and live in towns. So many things you can forage, though a lot of these free food wild areas are being destroyed for houses which is a shame. Thanks for watching :)
8f you have survival scenario at or near seashore in right season you can likely find seagull eggs quite easily, just be prepared for the dive bombing including fecal and regurgitation stuff as well as those shap beaks. another source of eggs are some wading and swimming birds in wetlands and lakes, woodland birds nests are more difficult but not impossible.
That is the FIRST time I've ever seen Woman's stocking holders used in a military survival kit. So may I suggest all you guys out there w great legs buy some nice stockings n a garter belt n get wild. Lol. But seriously, its a great idea as they are sturdy and will hold up. As far as the scraper w the 'saw edge' on one side,, I'd use it more for scraping wood small enough to get your fire started and as for the "chain saw', I'd make a kind of 'bow saw' out of the chain; I'd find a sturdy curved piece of wood, attach 1 loop to each end and you will have a pretty good saw for processing bigger pieces of wood for your fire, also they tend not to break as fast as they do when you just hold the loops and pull back n forth. Stay safe, Be Blessed.
I'm a volunteer at an aviation museum and I'm looking at survival equipment for aircrew. This kind of thorough review was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Multiple uses, indeed. For instance, the clips intended for use in creating a basha from the polyethylene bag could, in conjunction with a garter belt, be used to keep stockings up.
the piec of hack saw blade on the fericiem rod is just for fire lighting it would be almost impossible to use for cutting tasks maybe for cutting a notch in a stick, anyway those saw blades are usually recycled blunt or used blades.
No nor me but at least they had it, its better than nothing. They also have the skills to not need much too which is always a bonus. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Thanks for an excellent and really interesting video which I really enjoyed.......then you mentioned about using Tampons for putting in a wound! NO a thousand times no, this has been proven as almost completely and utterly useless. If I can find the relevant studies I'll edit and post links here. They do make pretty good, compact fire tinder which if opened out and fluffed up will take a spark easily from a ferrocerium rod. However plugging a wound nope, vastly better to apply direct pressure and use the Field First Aid Dressing the Pilots should be carrying somewhere on their person (I think?) 😁 Thanks again for the excellent content. 👏
I have lit fires with them before but I had always been told to use them in a wound. If you do find that study it would be interesting to read thanks. Glad you enjoyed the video. Stay safe!
Ure welcome matey Keep up the good work it's about time I started on my channel so many mres c rations orps I've had my daughter's a huge steve1989 fan thanks to lockdown in the uk and her seeing the deliveries I ended up making an playing a lil game good bad or rancid with me being the guinneepig she's 8 and autistic hope u had a good Christmas
