Gotta say, I really enjoyed watching the whole manufacturing process, from start to completion. We still need craftsmen like you to "keep the wheels turning". Thanks for that; looking forward to seeing more projects.
Thats a great resumee-video of the whole building process of these giantic wheels. Congratulation.and many thanks for showing us everything. best wishes from germany
Don't just watch weekly... look forward to both your videos each week. The world is so full of crap, it's good to see something wholesome. Happy New Year to you and yours!!
Thanks Dave for this version too and a special thanks for taking us along for the complete long version, it was special. Fred. Have a Happy Prosperious 2024.
Dave, you should have included the footage of the second tire snapping off the wheel. Just to show some of the problems you sometimes encounter. But very nice to see a recap of the series. Well done, sir. Very well done.
Been watching you know Dave for few years. and still get excited with every project you get into. and am always in awe of the solutions you come up with to the problems you run into.. And I love these "Synopsis's" upon each completed project. it always nice to see it again in condensed versions. so we get to see each stage again with out chasing down the original videos etc. a great idea. Thank you so much for sharing. ECF
Love these videos that show the whole process in a short time. You know that you are working on a big project when the first tool you use is a chainsaw. Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year.
This has been a gigantic project. I am hoping to see this logging truck in operation skidding logs from the forest on their way to the sawmill. Have a Blessed New Year
This build was exponential greater in technical complexity and dramatic moments compared to the building of "small" wheels. What a pinnacle of achievement and demonstration of your mastery and expertise. It would be great to see them mounted and if possible loaded, even in static demonstration in a still photo. Thanks Dave.
We kind of do the same with houses, just in picture format. We map the whole affair from day one to day last and make a report as well to give to the owner or gov, depending on who we work for. It's always nice to pass it along and it also works as reference for the future.
Their is something so warm and satisfying just watching you build...well just about anything thanks for all your efforts Happy New Year to you and your wife🤗😎🤗😎
So glad I discovered your channel over a year ago. I had always wondered how those old wagon wheels and axles could have held-up over the years and now I know how they were built. I really appreciate your dedication to the craft and certainly look forward to the progress of your latest endeavor with the old-time manure spreader... Simply amazing how a phoenix project can be accomplished from just a rotted pile of wood and rusty old iron. Of course the completion of the sheep wagon, I had to scratch my head when the customers request was to use as much of the original material as possible. Engles Coach Shop...Thank you for sharing your skills and craft, you are appreciated. All the best in the New Year to you and family.
That project deserved more than 17 minutes of video! BTW. I missed your regular introduction footage. I look forward to what scenery you are going to show each week.
Great recap of building the wheels,I’m sure customer will appreciate that you spent the time making the video for them. Great video as always.just continue on doing what your doing and on to the next challenge.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Another great result Dave. Love watchin you work. Careful and methodical figuring things out. I agree with all the comments that appreciate your family friendly content. Not many of your kind left in this age we live in. Thanks so much.
I have enjoyed all your builds and restorations over the years. Quite a relaxing time to spend with you in all those endeavors, and those yet to come. Happy New Year to you and Diane.
A great condensation of the builds. I too am surprised there is no record of the problems installing the tire on the second wheel. You must be proud of such a magnificent achievement. Thank you for sharing. Have a great 2024. 🙂🙂
One of the more interesting aspects of this build was all the ways you had to work around the mass and density (double spokes) and create tools to get it to behave right.
My wife and I are hoping to be moving into a new home soon and as soon as possible I want to get into making wheels for wagons and such. Who would you recommend when I get started to talk with to drum up work. I don't want to bother you and Dave or obligate y'all to anything. I just want to do some wheel, Wright work and see if I can make anything of it. It will be a while before I'm able to do it but I want to get contacts and stuff in line for then. Thank you
Olá David , acompanhei semanalmente os episódios das rodas, foi magnífico. Tambem tenho notado que voce não usa ou parece não usar nenhum tipo de proteção para os ouvidos,!!!!!! Cuide-se. Abraços. Feliz 2024.🎉🎉🎉🎉
As always the attention to details is over the top. You sir are a true craftsman!! I enjoy every minute of your videos. Thank you for the effort put into the videos. Wishing you and yours a very Happy New Year and wishing you health and peace during the new year. God Bless
Scares me just thinking about making wheels that big. These wheels took a lot of wood and I;m sure there is a lot of thinking went to putting them together. Happy New Year. We’re in Missouri
I have just looked at this video again. What a skilled man you are.!! However, you have no apprentice. When you stop working, all your knowledge / skills will be lost!!! Who will take over from you??? Have you thought of writing a training manual??.....your video archive is good, but some design decisions are not evident. Happy new year!!!
That was quite the project to do mostly solo (other than setting the tires)...! Are you sure your shop will be big enough when the time comes to tackle the 12-footer? :)
I've been watching your content for a long time Dave and I'm still in awe of your dedication and craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing.
Perfect as always. Wish you and your family all the best for the new year that is coming, with prosperity and lots of happiness.
Excellent wrapup for a job well done, thank you! 👋🤠
This man is a true craftsman!!!
Big wheels keep on turning

Rolling, rolling, rolling on the river
I love what you do sir. I watch every single episode. Thanks for posting up.
Thanks for posting this video, it’s craftsmanship at its finest sir.
Gotta say, I really enjoyed watching the whole manufacturing process, from start to completion.
We still need craftsmen like you to "keep the wheels turning". Thanks for that; looking forward to
seeing more projects.
I've said it before and I will say it again - You are a National Treasure! Thank you.
What would it be like without your videos?
For me it would be very empty.
Wishing you and your family lots of health and happiness in the coming year,
Happy New Year 🥳🎉
Thats a great resumee-video of the whole building process of these giantic wheels. Congratulation.and many thanks for showing us everything. best wishes from germany
You are an absolute artist, I immensely enjoy your videos and watching your knowledge at work building these wheels, wagons and implements.

Besides everything, they are works of art. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
From the island of Tobago. Great job Dave! I've been watching your channel a long time now.
Merry Christmas and HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎊🎆🎈
Fun to see the whole project all wrapped up, thanks Dave!
Every time I see these wheels I find them impressive! They would be something to see in person.
I bet they are even more impressive in person.
Dave, you should have included the footage of the second tire snapping off the wheel. Just to show some of the problems you sometimes encounter.
But very nice to see a recap of the series. Well done, sir. Very well done.
What a great summation of all your hard work! A fascinating year, here's to the next one! Best wishes from Ian in Blackpool, UK

Happy New Year 🎉 Dave and Diane may you have good health.
I believe that In Japan, the man himself would be officially heritage listed. He's a living breathing skill and knowledge museum.
That was a great roundup to end our year. Many thanks for showing us all your superb workshop. (From Ireland with gratitude).
