wait y'all don't thank the driver for delivering you alive to your destination?
I can't speak for other countries, but I figure in the US we just kinda figure they're doing their job. Not that there's anything wrong at all with thanking them. I just imagine that's probably why tho. Also for all I know there are people that do, it's just in the few times I've ridden the bus I haven't seen it, nor have I done it.
Pretty common in UK
@@themeliodas6227 You know what, I thought that we didn't do that here in England but I realised that we do, maybe not outwardly saying Thank You but at least nodding and putting a hand up to the driver as acknowledgement.
If they’re far away then no, feels awkward not knowing if they will hear you. (Everyone’s different tho) just like someone said, at least a wave.
Everywhere I've been in the US the majority of people thanked the bus driver; they wouldn't shout it up if leaving in the back half of the bus but if leaving through the front they would say it directly to the driver next to them.. which is why people might think we don't do it, we're just not as loud and boastful about doing it.
I don't know why that lady thought it was a rare thing to thank your bus driver. I live in the States and I say and hear it all the time.
It’s the same in the UK, I think it’s rude when people don’t thank the driver!
I've never seen this ever before.. 😯Well in Switzerland we don't do that but it would be so beautiful!
US here too and not uncommon unless it's too packed and loud on the bus to do it.
@@minidini4000 bro, what you mean we don't do that? I hear it all the time
I like in the US (Midwest) we always say bye
Those guys cheering up the people stuck on the plane are amazing!
Edit: Wow, thanks for the likes! ^^
Ive never had that many likes on a comment before lol.
Not all heros wear capes
I’m liking your edit. 👋🏼👍🏼
Dang, the royal guard playing Bohemian Rapsody is an absolute chad bro, that solo was just so stunning !
This video brought my joy back up, knowing that there's amazing people here !
I thought "Chad" was a bad thing...
No ! It's actually a reference to a popular meme, the chad meme ! You should look it up ! /Gen
6:00 that takes me back. Senior year of high school a random hacky sack was found and started traveling around different classrooms. Everyone would play with it but no one would take it. As a class we seniors adopted it.
And I was the queen of the hacky sack!! I swear I probably nearly broke the windows a few times, it was fun
Man, that sounds like fun!
Oh, 90s. The nostalgia some of us enjoy because of you is never-ending.
the dude playing bohemian rhapsody on the roof of the queens castle is by far the coolest thing ive seen all day
I would have played the sex pistols. Guess which song 😁
Hacky sack is how you summon the bros from the void. Once it is over, they respectfully return to the void until called upon again.
Gold comment.
We always thank the Bus driver for getting us safely to our destination. I thought everyone everywhere did it.
So much so that Dublin Bus use in their ads for hiring drivers "Get thanked for a living"
It's a classic case of American syndrome. They just think everyone's is like them and lacks manners.
The last one reminded me of when my grandma was starting to do really bad after battling cancer for 10 months. I was setting up my new telescope to look at the full moon. She never looked through a telescope before and she just casually mentioned that she always wanted to. I’m glad I had the chance to make that happen before she passed away :,)
I wish we'd been able to do that with my mom, but she had broken her back so we couldn't move her. I wanted to. 🙁
[I live in England] I don't think I've ever been on a bus where everyone hasn't thanked the driver unless they're a kid or something
I live in the US (most my life. I am a born here too) and yes you say thank you to the bus driver. You say hello goodbye and wave at people when you come in close proximity. You be a nice person. And stop making those faces. You would be amazed how different it is when you just say hello to someone. Couple seconds of conversation can be day changing
@@2017_K___Booth Don't lose that. It makes a big positive impact in such small-minded negative times. Thank you for your light.
@@2017_K___Booth I moved from Florida to rural Tennessee and, living on a dirt road, I learned to wave at every vehicle I met. I still do it on rural roads. I was standing in someone's yard with a bunch of people and the owner waved at a passing car, realized it was his "frenemy," and muttered, "I throwed up my hand before I saw who it was" in disgust.
That's how automatic it is.
There are even degrees of cool to waving while driving. There is the mom version with all fingers and movement. With hand on wheel there are several types; there's the mom wave, and there is the casual, 4 fingers. There is the cool, one finger, pointing either up or at the other driver. Then there is the max cool "bro" wave where you don't even use your hand. You just lift your chin and point it.
(That could mean you're hiding a smoke or a beer in your lap and don't have any hands free. Or it could just mean you're a bro.)
I am usually the casual.
0:23 It's so good to see Mr. Tusk get out and pursue his passions. So brave 💜❤️♥️
That last one, wow.. I just realized after taking my grandparents to the beach last week how hard it is for the disabled to get to on beach and not to mention, enjoy the water or just getting their feet wet. Much love to all of you putting the time and effort to selflessly being joy to our elderly ones. 🙂
The thing about Hawaii’s work hours is totally true! I live there and almost every place will just open or close whenever they feel like it 😂
People at 1:45 are legends, keep being awesome!
These make me think about my cat a lot so this would probably be animals doing animal things, but I sit at my desk a lot and I'll look backwards and see my cat watching me from the bed while my other cat sleeps. He has had a bit of a rough life, but we've had each other for a long time. He can't fall asleep unless I'm right there next to him, so he watches me, waiting for me to come join him for a nap. I love him more than I love anything and it breaks my heart that he's getting old.
My day is so much better after seeing these videos. Thank you for making them!
3:07 wait.. don’t everyone say thank you after they leave the bus?? Or as my life being a lie for thinking everyone in the world does that
Nope lol
As someone who works with bus drivers, a good amount of people say thank you, hello or goodbye. But there are the rare ones that don't say anything
As a Brit, we thank bus drivers.
I lived in Australia, and bus drivers are thanked there too.
I just thought it was normal, and part of human decency.
That last one they were trying to throw her into the sea and collect on the insurance but they spotted witnesses and played it off brilliantly. 🤣
Stop it! Don't be...just no...go to time out.😂
i love seeing random people come together to play games 💖 the joy of community and fun
I could literally imagine the day he open the shop at 1 and be like "nah, today's surf day" and then locked the door instantly 🤣
these are my favorite tiktok compilations i’m alway waiting for the new one. fantastic vid!! thanks for doing what you do!
3:08 actually in Santiago de Chile is the same, people usually thank the bus driver before getting out of the bus 😊
1:45 If there's any superhero with power of making smile, it's these two guys. Melted my heart ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍
5:50 i can confirm, back in the early/mid 2000’s I used to carry a hacky sack with me at all times, it was pretty fun and I wanted to get real good at it, and every time I started hacking by myself someone would always approach and join me.
Ok but with the air traffic people the only thing I could think of was that joke from airplane where the guy gestures in the wrong direction and the airplane goes through the window 😂
That water filled bucket pass with one hand needs some serious strength. Gud job fellas
3:07 I thought all places did this I live in UK and everyone always says thank you
5:56 why does this make me smile
Hacky Sack is such an '80s thing! EVERYBODY in high school had one!
😂😂😂
Here in Wales you always thank the bus driver, it's an unspoken law, and you don't say "thank you" you say "Cheers drive"
I can confirm this, also taxi drivers especially when you get home at 4 am from Cardiff and know your bed is within arms length it’s the best feeling and can be upgraded to “ cheers boss “
The first one had me dying lmao😂
It's a common joke sign in Hawaii. I love it, too. That's how I wish I could live my life!!!
That last one that played at the end my dog just rested his head on me ☺️
I live in America and we thank the bus driver too.... Or is it just me???
I had the outfit thing happen at a conference… there was actually three of us, two guys and one girl… we all had the same black and white plaid shirt, pants and similar shoes 😂😂
Vietnam road can be terrifying at first but man, nobody fights on the road. The road courtesy is truly amazing. You may they will hit you but they won't. Being that close is normal. Countless times ive seen someone get cut off and neither of them cared 😂
You may think*
I know I am gonna love this too
Saying thank you to your bus driver or Uber is pretty damn normal in Australia, idk about other countries.
1:12 joe cocker singing “whaat would you dooo if i saaaang out of tune …? in the background as Wayne Arnold finds himself on a random street, waaaay past “the wonder years” ❤
3:07 that’s the life in Canada! I’m from Quebec and this is so relatable
The day before we put our little pup down we took him to the beach one last time and let him get some water on his little feet one last time. That last video hit home fierce.
Aaawww. The 2 airport people entertaining the plane passengers. That's just beautiful
Wow, you deserve more attention for such a well made unique video! 👏
That last clip is just... heart touching ❤❤
3:10 It would be a bit rude to not do it ngl, I guess maybe it’s no everywhere in Canada but where I live we say hello when we enter and “thank you have a good day” when we go out
Sorry do people not thank the bus driver everywhere? It's such a shitty job you have to thank them for being a chauffeur basically but it's just nice to do.
Ily so much Human Things, you make my days happy
Thank goodness for people like these!! The world could use more humor🙌👏❤️❤️❤️❤️
That eagle catching that fish dang near brought a tear to my eye🥲 brrruuuuuddddeeerrrrr! 🇺🇲
1:45 the people on the other side of the plane: 🧍
The Hakki sack thing hit on a whole Nother level😢 sometimes you just legit miss being a kid and the connection that came so easily could just walk up and play hakki🤷🏻♂️
I suppose life can be interesting and beautiful if we know how to look at it. Thank you.
02:37 are we really ignoring those gymnastic kids ?
love this channel
This whole thing is making me cry
thanking the busdriver is normal in the Netherlands too, its great.
I live in north Dakota and we thank each other when departing the city bus too
Мужику на 5:12 везет в жаркую погоду, чего не скажешь о холодной!)))
Thanking the bus driver is done in Minnesota too!
100 percent those passengers weren't happy lol
1:50 decided to entertain the passengers, then probably got fired by some bureaucratic pen pushing 'suit' with a severe lack of a sense of humour.
3:09 I live in Switzerland and a lot of people so that too here
I feel so bad for the guy under the ladder at 5:25 🤣🤣 He really got the worst job there
The hackie sack vid is the most wholesome.
That ground crew should get a raise.
Yeah, same. I lived in a very large metro city for twenty years and rode the bus all the time. Not uncommon at all to Give Thanks to the drivers.
I can vouch that the random happy circle is a real thing. Usually when I go to festivals I'll take a sandbag and hella people will join in the circle
The air traffic controllers are my heros! ❤😂
Where can I get the one with the firefighters and the water buckets by itself? I really love that one!
Where do people NOT thank the bus driver?!
i need the video of that eagle with the snoop dogg and shades on because that was awesome
How to summon the bros:
*Pulls out Hackeysack*
I wonder if they secured a clip of Titanic without the music, dialogue only…or how they accomplished that?
The royal guard playing Queen immediately made me think that this is what happened when the Queen died. A perfectly British balance of respect and being disorderly.
That last one got me. 😢
Omg! I would love to watch titanic with a live orchestra ❤️
2:38 Wind Waker Link carrying Medli
Those 2 guys on the tarmac is why my flight was delayed 3 hours 😑
LoL 🤣
I get it I live on a surf / fishing island and even though we have about 30,000 people if it's good water weather, you can't get takeaway food after 3pm ANY DAY of the week.
My teenage years were in the 90s. I can confirm the hacking is real and random strangers will definitely show up to help you out 😁👍
We do that in Wales also 🏴
Cheers Drive
3:08 I have lived in the UK, New York, and Wisconsin, and it is absolutely normal in all three places to thank the bus driver when disembarking.
2:02 the last thing that would cheer me up before I take off in a plane would be the airport staff acting like clowns.
Hackie sack,
The bean bag that brings everyone together. 😊
That last one reminded me of my grandfather, there’s gonna be a day where he can’t walk to the ocean himself:(
5:32 When you skip leg day for a whole year,
You become top heavy.
Thanking the driver is pretty common in the UK
I never officially watched titanic but I know the classic scenes, if I was Rose I would’ve thought that man was trying to push me off the front of the boat😅
@@2017_K___Booth what about that makes me sound Scorpio?? I’m just curious, because I am a Scorpio!😅
That wasn't a random guard playing bohemian rhapsody lmao that was the guitarist of Queen if I recall correctly
wait people don't thank the bus driver when they get off??
Nope lol
3:00 this is how we celebrate Chinese new year in the Philippines 🇵🇭 we called this dragon dance.
It's the same in all other countries that celebrate the Chinese new year 😂😂
very cool
@@crypticTV Make sense 😂😂😂😂😂
The fisherman has an eagle friend and I’m jealous
M. Bison on the strings. 🤣
Bohemian Rhapsody ❤️😎
I’m an American and I thank the drivers haha
Some guy I was walking by recently had a hacky sack. I tried to get him to toss it but he wouldn't. I was sad.
3:07 im Canadian, I can't tell if she means it's cringe or odd and now I'm self conscious for all of us, is this weird? everywhere I've been people do this
Idk y but to me the best one was the guys playing hacky sack
We thank the driver in UK as well. It's just good manners.
In Brazil is very common to say thank you to the driver. It all depends on your education!
I thought thanking the bus driver just happened everywhere in the world
What a sweet ending
