I have a beautiful female Tuxedo cat (like the cartoon cat Sylvester). She is a long haired beauty and I wanted more, more, more. I wanted to breed her and let her line go on. But I know nothing about taking care of pregnant cats, and thinking about all the unwanted cats, made me realize I had the "SPECIAL" one. I love her to death and know there is none like her in the world. Thank you for what you do for the leukemia kitties. You are right. They deserve loving too.

My persian would sleep on the pillow. next to mine and purr so loud I couldn't get to sleep and that's the only place she'd sleep. A week before I discovered she had cancer, she started sleeping on my pillow. Had to have her put to sleep to end her suffering. Toughest thing I've ever had to do. After 14 years, she was no longer a cat. She was almost like a person to me.

People who don't love pets don't seem to understand that after so many years they're no longer just pets, they are literally family. I probably could have kept her alive a little longer, but did not want her suffering. Cancer attacks them so rapidly and gives them no chance of survival, at all. I sure didn't want to do it, but felt it was the only right choice. Sorry for your loss, too.

My issue with a record like this is that I feel like most people with really loud purring cats aren't gonna think to contact anyone about it, so really this a record for loudest cat who's owner thought "wow maybe I have the loudest cat I should contact the news".

Not quite as loud as the purr of the kitty in this video, but you *know* when he's purring! The constant meowing and talking, along with the loud purring, are both traits that my kitty has had since kitten hood!

My persian would sleep on the pillow. next to mine and purr so loud I couldn't get to sleep and that's the only place she'd sleep. A week before I discovered she had cancer, she started sleeping on my pillow. Had to have her put to sleep to end her suffering. Toughest thing I've ever had to do. After 14 years, she was no longer a cat. She was almost like a person to me.

+Oscar Derham It's been a while since that occured, but I still miss her. People who don't love pets don't seem to understand that after so many years they're no longer just pets, they are literally family. I probably could have kept her alive a little longer, but did not want her suffering. Cancer attacks them so rapidly and gives them no chance of survival, at all. I sure didn't want to do it, but felt it was the only right choice. Sorry for your loss, too.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is very hard, since are part of the family.
I know about a cat who had been diagnosed with cancer, got a surgery, and beat cancer.
