These videos are amazing, the thorough instructions are extremely helpful to someone new to designing in word. I would love to see a video on doing a birthday banner.

Hi Tracey, I just love your videos and have used them for the past 2 years for different things for my students. But for some reason the green lines that show you where to center your pictures, doesn't show up in my Word. Do you maybe have an idea why?
And thanks again for the best tutorials out there

Hi, I just did the invitation for my son's birthday but I can't save it .. can you please help me!!

What happens when you try to save it? Why cant it save? If you're using fonts that you downloaded to your computer, you'll need to save it to .pdf before you open it on anyther computer....

Great video and I am so happy that I can put my personal touch to the invite where as to pay someone else to do so I only have one problem. I thought it would be easy to just print them on 5.5x7.5 cardstock so that way I could just and send them out. As I change my paper, margins, and anything else possible to have them printed correctly, nothing seems to work and it just changes everything to more than enough pages but not on one. Please help.

I'm so sorry, I don't understand your question. Is it that you want to fit two 5.5x7.5 invitations on one sheet of paper? Do you want to change the margins to 5.5 x 7.5 then simply set the height and width of the square from the get go....again, I don't think I understand, if you could elaborate......

How exactly did you print or on what type of paper did you print on? The size of my invite is 5x7 and I thought it would be easier to print on the same size of cardstock but a little larger. Sorry for the confusion.

I don't know why you would want to print larger. I used these exact invitations for my sons birthday and used a 5x7 envelope and made the initial shape of the rectangle 5x7. I printed on card stock, made the rectangle 5x7, as long as you print directly from MS Word, it wont make the image smaller, if you print to .pdf it will shrink the image.....I hope that answers your question. Try printing and see how it fits in the envelope.

I have tried time and time again from leaving paper settings plain letter size to 5x7 and margin settings from normal to narrow. Is there a way you could walk me through it or do a quick video. I don't do much of these type of crafts but some invoices and that's about it.

So if you start from scratch and put in a new shape, make it 5x7 and print it, does it print smaller or larger? I'm guessing smaller? By how much? Are you printing directly from Word or are you printing to PDF, when you print to PDF, it does shrink the image/shapes. I don't know how to help, I you print directly from word, it should print true to size, if you add in a 5x7 shape it should print 5x7.
