Yes, being another English honours kid with a bengali medium background, I agree with her. We have been always taught that we need to think in our mother tongues and translate the expressions into English. And there lies the problem. While speaking English, one needs to think in English and not translate.

Very true.. I love English and can read and write perfectly, but when it comes to speaking, I fumble.. yes, low self confidence and social anxiety also plays a vital role in this situation.. thank you so much for making me feel like I'm not alone in this case 💕

Me and some classmates do interact in English little but most of the time interact in our mother tongue....i don't know how much I am fluent in English but till now I have been practicing by myself looking at the mirror or creating some fictional situation...this might sound weird but that's true

Hey, riya here... Bro i don't think there is a specific marks range to get into english honours. There is this exam conducted every year called CUET. So if you wanna get into a good university please prepare for this exam. Happy learning 🥰💕🫂
