In the middle of all that and just outside Leicester Square tube , Charing Cross Road, police on horses were facing demonstrators across the junction. A couple walked right into the middle of the space, he was white and she was black. He, in a very theatrical voice, shouted " _if any of you are Irish or Black now might be a good time to go home_ " to which a mounted police officer shouted back " _oi we're not all like that_ ". Laughter followed! 😉
