That's the thing. With every presidency, we can talk about how various numbers are up or down during their presidency, but unless you can connect the number to direct things the president has done, you really can't say there's any relation. And to Jon Stewart's point, when it comes to economic numbers, the numbers mean nothing if not compared to the world economy. If the whole world is doing badly, the problem probably isn't the president. In this particular case, every one of those numbers can be tied to events happening around the world that are outside of Biden's control. AND you can pinpoint many actions Biden has taken to fix those things that have been blocked either by the Republican majority in congress, Joe Mansion & Kristen Cinema previously, the Conservative Supreme Court. Not to mention, Biden has been successful in many other actions that do have us doing better on many statistics compared to the rest of the world. When judging a presidents ability to do the job, those details matter. You can say I'm bad at MY job because your life has been worse since I started my job... It's meaningless if you can't explain what I did to make your life worse.

I blame Bill O'Reilly for the world we live in, but not for the reason you think. In the old days, we had people who would report the news. They were called Journalists, they told you what happened, and left it up to you to figure what to think about it. Then came along Editorialist, who came on after the Journalists, to tell you what you should think about it. This destroyed America, and Bill was the best at it, and kind of championed the movement. What he said did not destroy America, but his success, created the model everyone now follows.
Facts. Surprised Jon let him get away with his lies on the show. Trump won the first time cause of people like Bill. He sold hate. We’re seeing the fruits.

"What did Biden do to create that though?" O'Reilly: "I don't know". THERE YOU GO.
The question no one seems to be able to answer.
Game set and match
If they can't answer that question they also can't explain what they would have done differently to prevent it from happening.

@@NAjustlikeatrumptrolland it's great, allowing you to safely vote for third parties. Unfortunately Australia is more interested in American politics and no one pays attention (meaning our right wing party wins most of the time). It would be wonderful for America.
Does Bill O'Reilly understand who sets the prices? If he is against capitalism, he should just admit it.
Great point! There was a comedic moment...but he didn't get an actual answer. Fiat currency, money printing, and big banks that aren't reigned in are recipe for inflation! At leeast Stewart pointed out that inflation under fiat currencies is a world-wide problem.

"THEY" are generations ahead of ewes with both a Vision and a Plan. Ewes have neither. If ewes ever hope to catch up, learn to "see" beyond your grandchildren's lifetimes.
That would make too much sense. You can't expect right wingers to think!
@@V1brationCanine Oh, they think. But you're not going to like what they are thinking.
I'm so glad you're back, Jon.
Love your comedy❤
Ironic that O’Riley is saying the media fans the flames of rage and divisiveness lol
Can't spell Hatred without a Red Hat
I guarantee you didn't think of that one yourself🤣🤣🤣
@FactsMatter999 the same way the antonym of Bigot is Liberal. Oh, that's right you have no clue what an antonym is @Factsmatter999
🤯
Hatred, there you go, and I'm not even wearing a red hat!
Doesn't that just make you the hater?
If you had told me 20 years ago that Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly would be discussing the current political climate in a friendly conversation during an election year, I’d have thought you were insane, but look at where we are now.
“Friendly” is a strong word 😂
If you’re not aware this isn’t their first time doing this. Jon Stewart used to go on O Reillys show back when he was a Fox News host in the 2010s
@@Thunderbender18830 they’re having a civil conversation, and from the outside looking in, it looks as if they’re sharing an opinion on something, which is something I never thought they’d be capable of
you are painfully unaware then. all their past conversations are on UA-cam and they’re all great. they have a terrific friendship
This happens anytime there is a book tour, for either. Same reason Bill has been at SeaWorld every so often. Or was that The View?
Your passion really shines through your work. Keep it up!
"When did you get that job!!" My jaw dropped!
5th degree burns
The inventor of hateful rhetoric wants to stop the hateful rhetoric???
I know, right? The nerve.
THANK YOU
Follow the money, it no longer gets him paid
I know, right?💙💙💙
He was not the inventor but definitely a disciple.
How can they even give this guy airtime?
My thoughts exactly!?🙄🤦♀️
Ratings. It is a corporation after all.
Its comedy central dude they're barely a channel 😂 gotta take what u can get
Jon showed his true colours.
He gets airtime anyway, doesn’t he? So this way at least he can’t just go on lying without interruption.
The argument makes more sense if it was someone with no big platform of their own, but I don’t think this is going to create a lot of new Bill fans.
its so cute how john made it seem like bill wrote his own books.
Right?!? You'd think he'd be able to understand consent if he actually wrote all those books
His secretary jotted everything down while Bill walked around and thought about it.
Bill O'Reilly is the first to admit that he doesn't write the books and has given plenty of credit to Martin Dugard, the two have worked together for years, decades even... But his Name recognition and his money are what are behind them, so he gets top billing... Dugard isn't crazy about the spotlight anyway, so it works out for both of them...
I'm guessing you're one of those people who think that Obama and Clinton actually wrote their books though... At least O'Reilly puts his Co-Author on the covers of his books...
@@Bafitis Let's see your proof of fake books by Obama and Clinton
Just like it's cute you think your president makes his own decisions.
The problem with Bill O’Reilly, besides his cherry picking old statistics, is that he says he wants to have open, honest conversations, but then you have to pretend like he’s not a Donald Trump supporter. ‘Oh no. I’m a registered independent.’ who has supported, supports, and will continue to support Donald Trump. But we have to play the semantic game because he thinks it makes him intellectually superior. He’s not. And his game is old.
He is an Independent
@@josephtafurProof? He's definitely not. Huge Trump supporter.
@@josephtafur😂 he worked for fox pls explain
Right, like O'Reilly hasn't greatly fostered the exact kind of environment he's criticizing.
Like we have forgotten that he was a big part of the hate game and propaganda, no respect for this guy and his ego
Credit to both of them. Most hosts won't have someone from the opposite side of the spectrum on their show. Most people who have ideological shows won't visit shows from the opposite side of the spectrum.
Or when they do, the host won't let them talk. John is doing an admirable job letting him talk.
yes
I bet John would love to have people from the right all the time, but they're too afraid to go on his show.
Amazing video! Your hard work truly paid off. 👏
This was the world championships of Passive Aggression. 😅
That "I don't know" moment XD
I'd like to ask the women O'Reilly reached legal settlements with how they feel about him being platformed again
Ask the widow of George Tiller
Ask the Democrats what a woman is
