The entrance room once void of any personality has become an elegant cottage foyer complete with a lovely staircase and now with the beautiful coat rack and shoe storage bench it is absolutely beautiful. Since I complained about the time lapse use in the past, I want to say how much more I enjoy the videos without time lapse. The stripping and waxing with the slow motion and edits of “progress” are so much more enjoyable than time lapse. I appreciate the change. That coat hanger is beautiful!
Seeing finishing coming along is so very exciting. Every reno starts with all the groundwork that seems to go nowhere. It is excruciatingly hard, takes eons, but is essential to achieving lasting results. Once that phase has finally been completed, the ‘finishing’ is the reward🥰😉👏🏻❣️❣️

Hi, Tracey. If you want to hang heavy coats or sweaters on your rack, ask Terry to make you a French Cleat. It’s on UA-cam, very sturdy for that rack and easy to make. Your vases and decor on top are very French Country, spot on❤️
Rob did a beautiful job on that hat/jacket rack. Also putting that bench with baskets under it is a great idea as the baskets can hold scarfs and mittens in the winter. A couple of suggestions- under the stairs put a deep multileveled shelving unit to hold shoes and house slippers and a mud mat for work boots. Taking off shoes at the door of the house is common in Asia to keep the house clean and I heard in one video that Tracie doesn't like shoes in the house either. Another suggestion is to move the bench across from the stairs facing a shoe shelf and put a small table under where the jackets would hang- you can put bowls there to hold car keys and a draw for wallets. Anyway, it is a beautiful and practical little space that will come in quite handy especially in the winter.
Rob is a living treasure - calmly goes about doing what needs to be done and so humble. Make sure he doesn’t get away!

You should prop up the bee print that was hung on the wall before on top of the coat rack to match the bees on the fabric on the bench.
