Low-Cost Bidirectional Fabric-based Soft Actuator using Mechanical Anisotropy of Textile

This actuator is fabricated from low-cost materials such as fabric and latex inner bladder. Using textile mechanical anisotropy and zero volume actuation concept, the fabric-based actuator is able to generate bidirectional segmented bending and straightening motions.
