Wow I’m shocked! I can’t believe that’s all you got. I’m use to seeing what people got last year. I’m in Canada so we were only able to get the regular lucky bag and the JS and Wayne Goss. I ordered the regular lucky bag and the JS. I’m not really into Wayne Goss. I’m gonna go watch that one now cuz I wanna see if I feel like I’m missing out lol. I also feel like they shouldn’t put retinol in the boxes cuz a lot of people can’t use it. I know I am one of the hundreds of thousands of people that can’t. I tried it twice. The same product and both times it burnt my skin 😢. At least you do like everything you got so that’s a win in itself. TFS ♥️
I'm in Australia and I'm under the impression all we can get is the regular lucky bag. I got one last year and it was ok. I am pretty keen to get a Wayne Goss one. I love his products.
You just uses too much. Retinol can burn anyone's skin, when you're sensitive you should just mix a tiny dot with a heavy moisturizer every other night or every two nights. Then work up from there. Or maybe that's enough and you don't need to work up, but most people that have never used it, if they just use it, it can and sometimes will burn your skin. I didn't do that and had some slight burns by my eyebrows, but now, I can use it nightly and it doesn't do anything. I feel ready to move up to prescription strength. Lol.
Two years ago I bought the $75 bag and was very disappointed. It had JS products in it in weird colors that I would not use. I decided not to buy any more $75 boxes. This year I nabbed an XL bag and was very happy with my products. I got the new ND $69 Xenon Palette, a different Viseart palette than yours, and 5 different Sonia G eye brushes, as well as some CT eyeshadow pencils among other items totaling $425. This made up for the bad $75 bag that was mostly unusable.
You must've bought the J star box, because Beautylish specifically says there will be NO J* products in their regular lucky bags, and I've had the last 5 and never received a J* product.
That Auric eyeshadow is a BEAUTIFUL shade! I bought the dup when she launched them holiday 2022 and they are still just as creamy and pigmented over a year later! Also, tbat viseart palette is a brand new launch! Kt just came out in December or possibly late November. Its the siater palette to the Violette Etendu! I think your box was pretty good overall, and i wouldnt be upset with it! The regular bags I've been seeing havent been great, you are right about that! I ordered the XL for the second year in a row and i really hope I got a great box! Last year I got several duplicates but i shopped a lot more in 2022 than i did in 2023 so 🤞 i get lucky this year!

Did you add up the total of your box? I think I would have been disappointed since I have the Viseart palette. I got the Wayne Goss bag. It’s the same as yours. I was hoping for more than 1 brush in it. I was also surprised that the light/med bag came with a dark brown lipstick. I’m very fair so I won’t wear it. If I had bought the new Wayne Goss eye brush set for $150 and the eye palette of his that I really wanted, I wouldn’t have spent much more than the final cost of the lucky bag. Lesson learned. I don’t think I will buy a lucky bag next year.
Got a notice that mine will be delivered Wednesday (on the East Coast). Said it is 1.8lbs. Is that what every one else's box weighs? Gotta admit, I've not seen any exciting or really lucky bags so far. I also noticed last year that most of the 'beauty gurus' no longer get the Beautylish Lucky bags, or at least they no longer film the unboxing of them. If you have a makeup hoard already, it probably doesn't pay off to get this one. I'm patiently waiting and hoping, fingers crossed, that I get a lucky one.
The ones that have more or extra items are the extra lucky boxes. It’s known that some of the boxes will have extra lucky items. Not all will have them
All the XLs that I am seeing, including mine, have 10 items. The hair mask is $165 so that’s probably why there was only one palette. I got the same palette and a $100 CT Magic Cream Light and $50 silk sleep mask, so that’s probably why I just got the one palette.
I got an XL and also had 10 items. I added everything up and it came to $400 so technically it was a good deal but I’m a little bugged that it was because of that $165 hair mask.
Well the hair mask and the brush is worth more than the bag, including shipping and taxes. And Viseart is an expensive brand. You must not use many high end products. That bag wasn't extra lucky but was great!

I wish they had a makeup only box. I guess Wayne Goss is the clossest to makeup only because he doesnt have skincare.

It looks like a regular bag not an xl. I’d check the value and see if it’s at least 300 cause it seems like not 300 value

I can’t be mad. It’s a mystery box. It’s a right. Plus the that hair mask I about $$ 200 so that pretty much paid for the box. I’m happy 😀
