you know shes a consultant when she says 'leverage' and 'value add' outside of work
You asked so many insightful questions! Wow!
Thanks for sharing your video. Getting stressed so much about attending uni for so long without much work experience, this video helped me to get rid of stress by watching an interview with someone who's been in the consulting industry and currently at the grad school! :)
i honestly love k.choi and her friends! super helpful and informative videos! :)
This is so helpful, thanks for sharing. Judy's so pretty❤️
Y’all are awesome happy to see y’all crushing it in life :)
Great interview! It’s really informative and inspiring. Love the high quality content.
This was so helpful! As someone from science and trying to navigate the business world, it's been a lot of trial and errors. Thank you for sharing these insights!
Recent Health Science and Business major here. Was struggling a lot of finding my passion and a career I could see myself happy in. Thank you for your videos, knowledge, and love for your career. I can definitely see myself in consulting and it’s something I am trying to get into, cheers!
This is so relatable! I will be starting my journey at Bain with no idea what I want to do in life, with the current aim of 2 years at Bain and then sponsored MBA. I keep thinking that I am forcing myself by defining this plan, but it feels good that thinking of these plans is normal, and people get the courage to change the plan if they figure out their passion down the line.
Feeling super motivated and touched. Wonderful girl! Well done!
I especially cherish how Judy is down-to-earth and able to talk about her failures. Thx
The interview was fascinating and full of info..it is a great job...just found your channel a couple of days ago and i totally hooked up with the consulting series...

Such an awesome interview even though I'm not specifically interested in getting into consulting! I'd love to see another interview with one of your friend's experiences going to business school, as this is something I hear a lot of mixed thoughts about nowadays. Love your videos~
Glad you were still able to enjoy it!! I have a few friends who are in/went to bschool, so I’ll see if I can compile their thoughts on it!
Amazing stuff! Answered so many of my questions with actual human experiences instead of the more numbers based explanations I usually find online. On top of that, you both seem like awesome people!

This is the first time I've heard anyone refer to a master's as a gift to themselves. It is refreshing. I'm taking a mid-career break by earning a full-time masters abroad and yes, I will start to refer to it as a present to myself from this point on!
its beyond helpful. thank you!
Love the tone of voice, judy

Not sure if you remember me from Porter (lol), but really enjoy your career videos, and find them quite inspiring. You do a great job of striking that balance of personal and professional with informative content. Keep it up!
hahaha hi! thank you!! :)
Really enjoyed your guest, she was great
loved it!!!
Wow great story, thanks for sharing. It help a lot.
Heading to an MBB this fall:
3:40 Although there is some seemingly arbitrary variance in the recruiting process (e.g. kids getting interviews wi MBB/Tier 2s but not Accenture/Big4, some getting offers with BCG but not McK interview, etc.) I'd really advise students (especially those from non-targets) to focus on 5-6 firms where you can see yourself working there, and network/prep hard for those select few. Perhaps from a target like Berkeley, Judy's volume approach may be more feasible, but generally firms like seeing dedicated/continuous interest
Just got an invitation to interview for Bain and this video really helped with my cover letter!
How did you get to apply? Would want to try it out.
Lots of similarities in my experience at BCG. I will agree and say the brand value you get from consulting is really unparalleled, particularly at MBB
Great video. I used to be interested in this field in college. I love the interview!
glad you enjoyed!
Really helpful, thanks!!
It was really helpful. Thank you so much! :))
Great video Ms Choi
Thanks. This was so helpful.
I normally don’t comment on videos, but I HIGHLY enjoyed this video!!! Thank you so much for this interview! I hope you can do more of them in the future! 😍😍😍
aww thank you for the kind comment!! i'll definitely be interviewing more people in the future!
Really helpful video!
Valuable video!
Love this video! Could you invite your friend back to talk about her experience applying to MBAs?
"I came in like a blank sheet of paper" - relatable, I'm inspired
This was so helpful and insightful, thank you both! In the case of a career switch, should you address that in your cover letter and in that case, should you do a comparison when saying why you picked consulting over the other option or should you just stick to the why consulting format?
Thank you so much!!!! this was super helpful :D
i'm so glad it's helpful!!
thank you so much! this is very helpful :)
glad you found it helpful!!
Oh my, i love her shirt, like combination of red and pink ranger.
This podcast help me find job 😀. Thanks Judy.
