Class 24 Sulzer 24057 Fly Shunting at Leek Brook Junction in 1977.

This video clip shows vintage footage of class 24 Sulzer 24057 fly shunting a brake van as she reverses a sand train from Oakamoor to St Helens on 23rd March 1977. The video was shot in Super 8 without sound. I have added a random recording of 24057. The Oakamoor - Leek line is now part of the Churnet Valley Railway. The Stoke -- Leek -- Caldon Low line is now owned by Moorland & City Railways and is in the process of being brought back to life. Can't understand why they call it the Cauldon Lowe line!
