This is the most complete tutorial on color grading that I've found w/ no gimmicks, condensed the information that I could only find in bits and pieces into one workflow. Your palette is also on point. Thanks so much Emmanuel-king!
opened youtube today with aim of searching for "how to color grade in PR".....this video was the first on my home page. Never knew youtube reads mind now😁😂. I'm glad your video was suggested to me. thanks for breaking everything into its simplest form. SUBSCRIBED!!!
I've watched many videos on this topic, but yours was the one that clicked for me. I just never understood in full. I came from a random search and I'm glad I've found your video. Thank you!

One of the most flawless and thorough videos on color grading. This video taught me more than the previous five videos I've watched from channels with more followers. Thank you, from Houston, TX!
Duuuude that was literally the best breakdown i‘ve ever watched! In only twenty minutes I‘ve learnt, what I couldn‘t learn from watching 100s of invaluable long videos on this topic. That Teal and orange look is unique! Thanks man😊😊💪
Honestly... I just watched this video and I’m like where have you been all this while. You’re the best and your approach to teaching is outta here. I’m currently enrolled in film school and the way you break it down for easy understanding is amazing. God bless you.
Wow, just watched 5 videos before yours, and like everyone in the comments has said, this is one of the best tutorials i have ever watched, weldone sir weldone
You deserve WAY more followers! I have been watching videos on how to color grade slog2 and I've watched alot of them, alot from ppl with like 200k followers or more and none of those videos was half as well explained as this one. Amazing video, thanks!
THANK YOU SIR! Fr. Philippines! Clear Tutorial about Color grading and also for the cameraman on what settings they should do so far and without asking to join what whatever group or websites etc. blah blah. This tutorial Directly Tutor you! and tour you in Lumetri Scope World.
I have dozens of color grading tutorials on file, this is by far the best especially for black skin. Why did you stop? Please make more tutorials so I can teach my students...
These are the explanations I was looking for! I'm doing a color correction rn, one of my firsts, and I couldn't understand these function on the software. Thank you!!!
The Very Best Color Grading Video! Also, you are a Wonderful Teacher. My video looks so natural, I can barely believe my eyes, many Blessings to you...Wow!
Am from Ghana and I just watched your video and I think I like it very much. As an African, I think I need such a local tutorial from people like you since its best explain our colour and location. it's rather unfortunate that your last video is 8 months ago. Bounce back bro and create content that we can relate to.
Emmanuel the color correction/color grading difference was needed. I’m struggling bc I just realized I’m trying to create an impossible effect and without this tiny differentiation in your video I’d have kept going in the wrong direction and frustrating myself. Thank you future king. 2:31
This was the best colour grading video I've seen and I've seen a bunch trying to figure out how to get good skin tones and also color grade! Thank you so much! Great explanation and level of detail,I feel like I've learnt so much!
You just save me some fustration and at the same time getting to learn this coloring stuff the right way without c-logs, thanks man. Others have gave allot of bs but you was straight to the point and genuine.
I’m glad to see I’m not the only one color correcting this way. I just bumped into this video and already used this method but still learned the language properly watching you. It took me 3yrs to learn this on my own started on the iPhone shooting footage using mobile editing apps which I can do amazing work on but it was limited on color correction. On my second year I picked up my first canon camera rebel T6 but I knew I was still limited then I got a Sony A7 III with a Alien 👽 Ware M15 laptop to start using Adobe Premiere Pro and it was scary but not to different from the mobile apps however the color correction was what I couldn’t wait to do as this is the art I killed them on the iPhone with. I finally took on Adobe and damm I am a natural or better yet trained on a iPhone which I still use with some of my clients yes 🙌🏿 I got clients. So I approve your video cause that’s what I do. Dope I suggest people here pay close attention cause this will shorten the time on learning color correction. I would like to add to this video that the most important part of this video is the individuals eye and what you picture in your mind. Getting color correction is the true art in bring film to life.
Thanks a lot! I needed this soooo much, I even thought I didn't have the eye for colour, for 10 years. Now I know I do, really appreciate how simple you made this. Love from India!
Good work brother keep going I've been learning color grading and correction for a long time and this video helped me alot to understand the manner for the both grading and correction thank you brother Cheers from Egypt to whole africa 🌍🇪🇬
Dude, 1. Your style is beautiful, 2. Please please make more tip videos 3. You are a brilliant teacher 4. I could finally color grade my slog. Thank you so much.
I'm teaching myself PP via youtube mainly, and so far most deal with effects that don't improve the original footage, but play games with it - effects for effects sake. This one really changes the emotional content of the image whilst remaining lifelike - like a heightened reality state. As yet, I've failed to improve any content I've worked on, maybe now I'll start to make progress. Thanks.
One year later and I was finally ready to watch this video. My mind was blown after the first 10 minutes 🤯. I'm definitely going to rewatch this 100 times till I get every portion right. Thanks King 🙏🏽
Far out man. This is the very first correction/grading tutorial I’ve watched and it’s so fundamental it gives me everything to get the job done with just the NLE. I’m very grateful for this. Top job brother.
Nice lecture. Please can you make a tutorial on how you make a music video pop during color grading? I have a Canon 5D mark 3, color grading its image is a lot of work.
