    Hi Ry, My name is Matthew Brothers. I run Ñuke America. I want to thank you for your review. It is RIGHT ON, honest and thorough (especially including the issues that we need to work on). I will keep you informed about those. Keep up the good work.

    "an engineer designed it" - that made me chuckle and it brought back memories of process equipment that were beautifully compact but extremely difficult to service. A pair of hemostats (surgical vascular clamps) can be your best friend when fingers fail in tight spots. Nice pizza there cowboy!

    That’s such a cool cooker Ry and I’m glad you cooked other things on it too. The pizza turned out great, but it’s also a wood fired oven which most people seem to miss on these labeled pizza cookers. The only limit is imagination. Have a great Sunday!

    Give chicken wings a try in the oven. They come out great. Even though your temp said 800 I don't believe your stone was. Try a little more preheat. You will get better color. Enjoy and have fun with it.

    Great review! I'm really looking forward to seeing you do some more recipes using it. The vendor's Website is a bit confusing. The picture of the Pizzero doesn't seem to match their description (i.e. it says a wheeled stand, but the picture doesn't show it). I'm glad you showed the one you got included the mobile stand!

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  3 роки тому

      Yeah it has two wheels on the back legs, and two solid feet on the front, which I think works better than four wheels. It sits very solid but is still easy to move with the pull out handles.

    Great revue.Would you like the oven as much if you paid the $2k for it.I was kinda interested but for that price I can go brick and mortar.I was thinking maybe $800.No pizza stone and I still make great pizza with my Weber kettle.🔥👍

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  3 роки тому +1

      If they fixed the issues then 2k is right in the zone for what most ovens like these cost. I’d be okay with that, but I wouldn’t want the problems.

    • @CookingWithRy

      So far I've used pecan, white oak, and olive. Olive has the most distinct flavor and burns very hot.

    • @OttoBoy
      @OttoBoy 3 роки тому +1

      @@CookingWithRy I'm guessing that olive wood is very traditional for this purpose - looks like a perfect fit - great to know. I've been sitting on the fence about getting a wood fired oven. This might be the one. Thank you again for the review, the videos and being a calming influence on this site.

    There's not a lot of info on this oven and almost no reviews. It looks like a Chinese-made, mass produced oven.
    Alibaba has then for $400 a pop.
    My question...is this oven actually really handmade & handcrafted in Argentina?

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  3 роки тому +1

      I believe they make all their grills and ovens in Argentina.

      @@CookingWithRy Thanks for your reply! How's the insulation under the floor/deck and in the dome?

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  3 роки тому +1

      @@jutout The dome and front/back walls have a fiber insulation between the stainless steel shells. The floor is refractory tiles on steel.

    • @jutout

      @@CookingWithRy Bummer that the deck insulation is non existent. Do you think one could add a ceramic, high temp fiber blanket to the floor?

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  3 роки тому +1

    Most "Pizza Ovens are just for novelty and to take your money. The first I looked at was an Ooni, or Uni however they spell it now. The home oven still makes a good pizza without the deep fried greasy delivery that some big chains offer.

    Hey Ry, I got one of these and mine only came with the stock 600 degree thermometer. What is the replacement you're using, and how did you get the larger dial to fit the 2" hole? Did you hog it out, or just let it sit proud, or is there some adapter or something? I can always clever up something, but if you've already got it working, it's just be easier to ask.
    Thanks for the video and thanks in advance.

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  3 роки тому +1

      I just purchased a thermometer with threads to match the existing one. It stands a bit proud of the oven face with a wide washer to cover the extra hole diameter on the outside.

    Any ideas on how long it holds heat compared to a brick/stone oven?
    You mentioned cooking something “after the oven dropped to 350°, just wondering how long it stayed there. I really like the idea of being able to fire the oven and then use the residual heat to bake breads or what have you.

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  3 роки тому

      At an 800 cook, without adding more wood, 45 minutes after cooking 3 pizzas it was at 350-400 F.

    Question about your cast iron. I've found when I heat my 12" Lodge up really high, I always burn the seasoning off my pan, then have to season it up in the oven again. How do u keep that from happening with your cast iron and these really high temps.

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  3 роки тому +1

      I haven't had that problem. I usually give a light seasoning after cleaning after each cook.

    So, so many manufacturers of whatever just seem to knock out their instructions as an afterthought. It must be pretty disheartening to the thousands of technical writers out there who could do such a great job if given the chance.

    • @CookingWithRy
