Haha. At least you admit it. Sorry, but as a lady myself, if my significant other gave me a gift but opened the bulk of it himself instead of allowing me the joy of doing that, I would think that he bought it more for himself than for me. ;)
Perhaps my comment will prevent you from doing that in the future when you gift your wife something (especially if you want to include it in a video that is about “marriage advice”). ;) 😂

Oh I bet that she did, but she wouldn’t want tell you that she would have much preferred the joy of opening the bulk of the gift herself, only because she truly appreciated the gift and wouldn’t want to make you feel bad. Most people try to avoid confrontation if possible to keep the peace, especially in a close relationship.
Is it really a big deal to possibly start an argument over? Of course not. So even though she may say that she didn’t think of that at all (if you actually asked her), I am willing to bet that of course she thought about it, but picks her battles wisely for possible arguments (as it is important to not start arguments over small things in long-term relationships if you want them to last!).
I think it is “weird” that you initially acknowledged what I was saying as being true by your stating _“my bad,”_ but are now acting as if my point isn’t valid (saying “she didn’t think that at all”).
My Vitamix came with an extra container (for grains) and 2 smoothie blend cups with the blend top

we got ours from costco. it came with 2 personal cups and a adapter. i wish i could get the dry and smaller container. but im not paying retail. i will see at the local thrift store.

I have the same one I like and I don’t like it you have to hold it or it shakes and you have to keep adding liquid 😕 but I do like how it does make a good smoothie
Yeah, it's a base model for sure, but compared to any other blender we've had, it takes the cake. Agree, great for smoothies and salsa, but thicker mixtures get jammed up.
You do NOT have to keep adding liquid. That is what the tamper is for!

That is a matter of preference of how thick you like your smoothie. My point was that it isn’t a matter of the capabilities of the Vitamix blender, because you can blend anything you want in it without the need of extra liquid, so long as you use the tamper if it is really thick.

There should not be an issue whatsoever with your ingredients “getting jammed up“ in a Vitamix blender. A tamper comes with every single unit sold! That is its entire purpose - to stop the ingredients from getting “jammed up.“ All you do is push the ingredients towards the blades with the tamper, and it will continue to blend just fine.

Haha. Entry level first. Then if she proves she can handle the responsibility we’ll think about top tier!
It’s not a lower model because it’s the same horse power on all models 2.1 or 2.2 and smaller jug for smaller batches and a bit noisy ant speed 10
This model is not fancy in features but it does a perfect job.
No matter the choice you made is a excellent choice for you guys .

@@SPEAK.LiKE.FiRE. exactly, with Vitamix the blend Quality is exactly the same, you're just paying the extra money for the other models for new features and thats about it, an example would be: jugs, presets, digital timer, Bluetooth connectivity etc ..
