We saw this one at the Arcada theater in st charles il and wow did we ever enjoy the show . i had a wonderful first listen to Elevator - it arrived onour 30th wedding anniversary. coincidence! we took a walk around this pond which is near our home and the weather was perfect . i heard "power of the natural world" while looking at sunlight dancing off the water , with adrian narrating what i was seeing . it was quite a moment for me , being there with Donna , perfect weather , perfect day , perfect music . Thank you to adrian for being such a huge part of the soundtrack to our life . If you do not have a copy of elevator yet or tickets to this amazing concert i would twist both of your arms .
`under appreciated`? by whom? he has been in the business for half a century, played with f.zappa, d.bowie, king crimson, talkingheads and countless other great people, always doing `his thing` everywhere. of course he doesn`t give a shit if he gets enough recognition. `under appreciated`...what a nonsense, man:-) cheeerz mate!
Thank you so much! What a great gig Adrian never fails. So nice to see Julie on bass. The new guy is no slouch on drums either! What got me looking Adrian’s work up is Jerry Harrison was a guest on Marc Maron’s WTF yesterday and he and Adrian are performing together.
Belew is a monster! Yep, here's what is on the Shank Hall website: Q. Why Shank Hall? (Why the Stonehenge?) A. The name Shank Hall comes from the musicians' cult film This Is Spinal Tap. In the film, Spinal Tap played in Milwaukee at a then fictitious club named Shank Hall. The club's owner, Peter Jest, booked the Tap at the UWM Ballroom July 11, 1984. He then promised the band if he ever opened a club in Milwaukee it would be named Shank Hall. Guess what? He did. In 1989. You can read more about the legend of Shank Hall in the Spinal Tap Shrine during your next visit to the club. The Stonehenge is a reference to the one they used in the movie.

@@markuselipka I apologise for the incorrect use of English (it is not my first language as I'm a Yorkshireman) 😜
Well, he has had a loyal following for dacades, and an Oscar. But I agree that he deserves more "airplay".
@@PaulPadoan 🙂in this case - he is not the only one!
but i`m pretty sure - he by himself doesn`t care about things like that.
Thanks for taping and sharing! Johnnie does the drum Fill from Zappa's Andy at 01:37:40 he did it the previous night in Minneapolis as well
Yep! Right in the middle of Thela Hun Ginjeet, I caught it that night too. Usually Adrian sticks City of Tiny Lights in the show somewhere.
Bassist plays the lick as well, classic! Good ear.

They just did Remain In Light at the SF marathon run from stage to stage for a few bars of each!
Isn't that what concerts aren't all about?
this is great. thanks for the upload.
Cool!
Big blue sun was incredible.
That's Bill Bruford's Tama kit he used with King Crimson from 1994-1997...Adrian Belew now owns the kit.
Yep, he mentioned it during the show. Cool stuff!!
ade can drum, i would like to see him do a solo
I Remember How To Forget and Big Electric Cat in the first ten mins... awesome. And mini Stonehenge a la Spinal Tap with a spotlight... love it
i miss shank hall!!!
I saw the Bears at Wolfgang’s in San Francisco.
@tredm0nger thank you very much for sharing this!
It is really REALLY hard not to love that man. Is that a miniature-Stonehenge on the backdrop?

I've seen Adrian many times, but never saw him perform Laughing Man. That would be great to witness!
The first track is a Beatles song. 'And Your Bird Can Sing'
I'll have to get my Bears LPs out to get the title of the Bears track.
OH!!! Thanks for getting the track list together, man.
The Bears song is '117 Valley Drive"
Got tickets for tonight in Pittsburgh hope he does the same set. Is he signing anything ?
Cool! He didn't sign anything in Milwaukee the past two times there.
Рассмешило , Привет, товарищ
Ну-ка ну-ка послушаю ..❤

The opening Beatles cover didn't go well.
