thank you so much!! this is what i needed it here is the summary I am using to practice until I master the process open choose mockup file open & place ( the design ) place the design on the shirt go to mockup image and duplicate the layer move the layer to the top change blending mode from normal to hard light desaturate the layer go to image > adjustments > hue / saturation (saturation -100) right click on top layer and click on Clipping mask image> adjustments > curves and play around with the curves

Very helpful. But I had two problems. Even though my design has a transparent background, I could see the square line on the edges of the design, very subtle, but is there. I noticed that my T-shirt got very shiny after the adjustments .
*NEED HELP* Hi, I followed your steps but my image that I opened and placed onto my mock-up is blurry. It’s an image I created through Canva and saved as a PNG at 4500px X 5100px. Any idea why it might be blurry? - *Side note* this same image also comes out blurry in another mock-up generator called “place it” So any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@lisadoesstuff9368 I think I just needed more practice with messing with the "curves" 🤷🏻♀️ honestly I don't know why it was like that but it's gotten better
@@PlaguesPosies curves shouldn't make your image blurry, is your original image a low resolution? if you want i can help you create the shirt mockup :)
@lisadoesstuff9368 I'm not sure, I was using mockups I bought on Etsy and my design only looked grainy after messing with the curves. But I know that makes no sense. Thank you for your kindness and your offer to help but it's actually been working better lately :)
Sure thing! Just a side note, I absolutely LOVE Canva, however it has limitations and will not be able to get you the same results with the realistic highlights and shadows on the design. With Canva, you'll only be able to overlay your design and lower the opacity just a little bit!

here is the summary I am using to practice until I master the process
