Dude love these podcasts. I do like this dude because his story was similar to mine. I did almost 4 years in California prisons from age 18-21 starting in 2005 and could tell you some crazy stuff that happened! Hit me up and we can talk!
I’m a white dude from San Diego and I was born around the same time as this dude. Something he said was really relatable and that’s about growing up poor with a drug addict mother in a neighborhood where most people had stable homes. I got picked on a lot as a kid for that and didn’t realize until I was an adult how different my family was.
Dude I just got done watching this whole video and all I have to say from someone who is in San Diego right now living the struggle that he’s talking about much respect bro I hope one day I can thank you for your story
This is so funny! I saw Chris's picture, and thought "Oh... this guy's going to be mean and...." Turns out, he's a gentle, kind, intelligent dude! I love it. 🤣
Ian this is the 4th video in a row av watched just getting better and better I found you yesterday an carnt leave the channel alone from someone who is on there journey of rehabilitation and drug addiction it’s nice to see so many people like us winning
I love your channel. This was an awesome interview. Much respect to this gentleman for turning his life around. I love hearing stories of people winning in life.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. This fella is speaking the truth. Telling it how it is. You kids listen to this man. God kept him for a reason. Like he said most of his former mates are dead. Dead dying or the living dead as I say. Having a mentor , a father figure or even better a father in your life , having a brotherhood of people that want good for you or just that 1 person that can be a mentor at any age but especially the earlier the better. Search it out. God will help you if you just take a step his way and like this guy is saying and showing , your life can totally change. Great interview Ian. Your helping a lot of people that you will never know or meet but this is the flow on affect ❤ like throwing a pebble into a pond. One little pebble ends up reaching so far. You hear and some have been through so much shyte. Its so good to hear some positive stuff from absolute devastation. The flow on effect 👌 loving it ❤
Well , never judge a book by its cover , right ? Chris is perfect example of that . Very humble man , takes full responsability for his past . Doesn't use a terrible start in life as an excuse , embraces the Lord and turns his life around and finally becomes a good dad husband and neighbour . Inspiring , Good dude
I’m impressed with this interview. It’s hard to drop your pride when you’ve become a gladiator. Everything else seems weak and soft. Good for you, thank God for that!
Kids in two-parent households have it hard enough in life. Take a parent out of the mix , and that could be disasterous. This fella deserves tremendous credit for grabbing life by the ears and taking control. Great job, kid..God Bless You. Matty
Children raised in single father homes have as good a chance as two parent homes. It is single mother homes that produce the majority if the criminals and misfits.
Its all in framing the shot. Notice Ians framed with more head space. This guys is framed with camera shooting up and no head space. It makes him look huge.
Yup that's how it was. I grew up in vista. North county San Diego. I remember before I dropped out my mom saying don't even trip you'll get you GED when you go to prison.
I’m 41 and have never had a father, or step dad, or really any kind of father figure in my life. I met my dad once when I was ten, and he abused me… I never saw or talked to him again after that. Also my mom is crazy, and was really a terrible mom who’s only 15 years older than me….. All that said, I’ve never really been in real trouble (overnight lock up for drunk and disorderly once) although I do wish I had a better relationship with my children, but honestly I don’t….. family is kinda a unknown for me..
I grew up in mesa he’s not wrong. I had a cop tell me that he could take me out in the desert and nobody would ever find me. All over nothing he just wanted to show me his dominance, it’s ridiculous.
Lots of men want to be fathers, but many women don't treat them kindly, provoke thier man to being frustrated or leaving so the women can claim she was a victim of his crazy response. Most fathers don't leave thier kids, they can't handle these women, and then 70%-90% of divorce is the women initiating it then they convince thier kids thier dad didn't love *them*... No he didn't love *her*. And the ones that truly end up with actually bad men that women decided to get with those men. Fatherless homes are primarily women's fault. We live in a fallen world they can't help how they failed you, for your own peace forgive your mother and your father.
I'm far to the right but this is a delusional take. Both men and women can be equally horrible in a relationship, albeit in generally different ways. No group has a monopoly on morality, no group has a monopoly on sin, and everyone sits before God's throne alone.
@@Animal14722 the divorce statistics are public knowledge, 70% (up to 90% for college educated women) of divorce is initiated by the women breaking up the home. But then most people will say that's because men are just so abusive, but look at the divorce rates of gay men to lesbian couples. The female only relationships are 3 times more likely to end in divorce over the male male relationships. People can say I'm wrong but those are the facts. 2 parent homes are absolutely a blessing to children but who's breaking them up?
@paulx7620 sure, women initiate divorce more; it goes without saying that there are different tendencies between men and women. That doesn't mean that it's always, or even usually, unjustified.
@Animal14722 I just want to say I appreciate your being polite and respectful, thank you for that. But I say it's hard to justify most divorce when it's far worse for the children, and it's supposed to be an oath sanctified by God. I'm not saying no divorce is justified BTW, but when you weigh in the negative effect on the children I'd say it's more common then not to be unjustified and just self serving. And a father's role in children's life isn't held in the regard it's due. If you compare the well being of children in single father homes and single mother homes by every measurable metric the children in single father homes are more successful and emotionally balanced. (again publicly available hard statistics). But our role as father's isn't valued accordingly by modern society. I hope anyone reading this at least look up those statistics and decide for themselves. Even if a person doesn't fully agree with my perspective at least they will understand where I'm coming from. Anyway have a good evening.
So many people in the comments from this video and others always seem to have there say on of the host is teeling the truth or if they were in a level 4, etc yet these people making these comments never been to a jail let alone a prison. MO prisons don’t break down racially. It’s a secondary concern. We stick with our neighborhoods. It’s like growing up, how you have a neighborhood friend you fight all the time but at school if anyone picks on them you’re on their ass. We stick with guys we know from the bricks. I’m not talking about Tipton, Algoa as it is today, Churchfarm when it was open, Pacific, Moberly as it is today, etc. I’m talking about MSP, Crossroads, Potosi, JCCC(new MSP) I could name them all as I damn near lived in them all but you get the picture. I’m talking about joints, not camps. To get to the point, there will only be a handful of skins on each yard and they are serious dudes. Well, I’m talking 90’s and early 00’’s. They weren’t hateful at all. Blacks typically liked them cause they were respectful in their business. They hated the SSG and especially Famiky Values groups that were festering in lower level yards initially. At a point the FV was laughing stock but I met solid dudes from all these groups. I actually really liked a lot of guys from all that I mentioned. Skinheads on these higher level joints were just different. They only showed silliness when it was pretty much only them around. They rarely had problems but when they did they got down hard. I don’t glorify any of this. I’m just comparing to how California requires the racial divide and then the people live a Mickey Mouse life. You heard the man, it’s all fake. It’s extortion. It’s using the young guys. Skinheads in MO won’t let young dudes mess up. Even brothers. They can’t help brothers much but they’d advise them if given the chance. I’ve seen it. They’ll advise them to politic over violence, stay safe and keep their outdate. So I guess if you force a code on folks they’ll fake it. If you let people be their code, it’s real.

This guy sounds legit and even better he is from my hometown San Diego. Repping North County SD! He is true though, SD is littered with drug use even in the suburban areas. Lots of statistics. I have countless people I know here that have met their end too soon. Obviously an issue anywhere, but just wanted to throw that out there.
@ray831ray in California prisons hells angels move nothing...they have absolutely no power ab runs the show for the whites...but this wat I seen as a southern Mexican
@@v3rde776 Yeah I was always told that the HAs are just normal woods when in prison. Kind of like how the South and the North aren't supposed to rep their street affiliations in there
This guy doesn't sound like anything that the thumbnail makes out. Just the things and in the way he worded things. HA is not a movement in prison and especially not in the level of AB. Bikers are woods mostly by my understanding. Im Australian however watch so much American channels and I know more than him
Yup, that's true. He also calls skins a prison gang when their not. Bikers are woods, and the HA in CA prison hasn't been relevant since the 80s. Back then, they had a lot of numbers inside, but that has not been the case for a while now. Im from SoCal. I've seen like 2 on the streets. It's the mongols and the vagos that have the numbers down here.
You look at the tall most biggest he looks small coz of people around him on his own tou see his rel size most of all he is very quitly spocken and very pelite when speaks
