The rift between southern African neighbours Zimbabwe and Zambia is widening. The United States has rubbished Zimbabwe's claims that Washington is setting up a military base in Zambia. The US Says it has no bases in Zambia and has no plans to expand its footprint there. Zambia too has denied Zimbabwean reports. Harare has been raising the alarm over the West's increasing support to its neighbour Zambia. Earlier this month, Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa expressed his concerns to Russian President Vladimir Putin accusing the US of militarising Zambia to consolidate power in the region and isolate Zimbabwe. African leaders don't have their countries first, feel vulnerable and have no self confidence except Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda. African leaders must know that the foreign army are for the interests of their own countries. Professor PLO Lumumba has constantly alerted the African leaders on several occasions in their countries. Many have not understood anything and aren't able to read what is happening in world politics and security. Let Africa unite and build strong military of their own to provide continental security.

Zambia and Zimbabwe should not allow foreign militaries to operate in their soils. It is not for the benefit of the two nations because they will the serving the interesting of those military powers at the expense of their own interests. At the end there would be instability, disunity and lack of cooperation much to the advantage of those military powers. Instead they should make their own militaries one to counter any threat to the region. Let Africa unit for Africans and not divide for foreigners.
Zambia is a sovereign Nation way before alot of countries in Southern Africa including South Africa and the same Zimbabwe and that wont change

Zimbabwe is not asking help from the US, they're asking them to stop blackmailing other countries from doing business with them, which is what sanctions are, blackmail. Sanctions are not aimed against Zim, they're aimed at anyone who dares do business with them.
The US doesn't build military bases for no reason. As a matter of fact the US has no country that can be considered an enemy other Zimbabwe in Southern Africa. Zim has every reason to question their motive considering they've been a target of US racist policies in the past twenty years or so. What is happening in Ukraine is about to repeat itself in Zambia. Zambia has been building its economy by taking advantage of the fact that it is the second most mineral rich country on the continent to push for more African growth just last year the president went to the USA to negotiate the sunctions put on Zimbabwe but Zimbabwe fears the rise of Zambia as its military has moved up to be ranked as the 10 in Africa will Zimbabwe has fallen to 18 and the Zambian economy is set to hit 37 billion this year this would make Zambia a major player on the African continent and Zimbabwe won’t allow it let’s stay be strong together we are all African just like when our first presidents said Zambia and Zimbabwe will become provinces of a Greater Africa ❤

Zimbabwe and Zambia are sister countries . whatever the case or situation might we can on our own resolve it. Southern Africa has been so peaceful with exceptions to Mozambique that has had some insurgents . Africa there a saying " fools learn from their own mistakes while wise people learn from the mistakes of other" , lets learn from the mistakes other countries have made by allowing western nation (Nato) and the Americans to put military installation in there countries. History tells us that everywhere America and Europe has gone they distabilize regions and nations. They divide and rule and all is dont at the expense of the host countries while the America and their partners benefits. Zimbabwe and Zambia are both sovereign states yes and that must be respected however its not wise to be ignorant to the fear and concerns of your neighbors coz you are going to remain neighbors even if after america has gone ,after they distalibize and got what they wanted.
