The celebrated REV’IT! Tornado jacket and pants return for their third revision. As always, Tornado is a comfortable and protective options for three-season riders, thanks to a combination of mesh and removable liners. The Tornado 3 jacket and pants make use of PWR synthetics. CE rated armor is along for the ride, plus a pocket for a back protector in the jacket. Additional features include Additional features include reflective accents, multiple adjustment points, and a short connection zipper to join the jacket and pants together if you decide to purchase both. - Авто та транспорт
In the video, Spurgeon states that the Tornado 3 is $20 less than the Tornado 2, which is correct. However, the Tornado 2 retailed for about $370, so the Tornado 3 retails for about $350, not $330. We apologize for any confusion. -DrewZilla
And with inflation we are right back at $370, but now it's a 3 year old design/setup. 😬
I have the Tornado 3 pants and really like them. Being 6'2" with a 34" inseam it's difficult finding riding pants that are long enough and wont hike up in the seated position. I went with the Large tall and the fit is perfect. With the liner out they are very comfortable in warmer weather, and with the liner in they are comfortable down in to the low 40's F. As a SoCal moto commuter they are a year round pant.
I’ve used this 3x, 75F, 80F, and 95F. Comfortable, great airflow. Fit is sportier than it looks in photos. Tried it with the liners inside my house and nearly burned up, should be good in cold weather or brisk mornings.
I've been using the Tornado 2 jacket and pants on an almost daily basis for the past two years and I absolutely love it, although it's starting to look worn out (no surprise there I guess). I'm in the DFW area and for me this is comfortable from around 40 deg up to the mid-90's. Anything hotter than that and it's still gonna feel hot, no matter how much mesh you have, but that isn't the fault of the jacket. Most of the improvements in the 3 look spot on. I only hope that the "new lower cost" doesn't equate to "made in China".
I like that they've offered it in light colors. Super good in the summer sun.
Do you suggest Tornado 3 for temperatures around 30 degrees in the summer or it will not be comfortable and it´s better to buy airwave 3 ? thanks in advance.
Just ordered, Thanks guys!
How is it
I've got the tornado 2 jacket and the airwave 2 pants. They're great. Haven't tried them in the winter yet but they feel plenty protective and have really good visibility. Don't feel too bulky either which has been a problem for me on my search for a good summer jacket.
I used to have only one jacket, an Olympia mesh, I was using it all 4 seasons, combining it with a heated jacket/gloves in the dead of winter, I even did an Iron Butt run Wentzville, MO to Buffalo, NY, the terms never went above 28 degrees. I never got cold, for the coldest days, I put the waterproof liner in (even though the heated liner was waterproof).
will Alpinestars Corozal Adventure Drystar Boots fit with the Tornado 3 pants?
Is there an alpinestars equivalent to these pants? I have the Viper V2 jacket and want pants that go with it. So far these ones look pretty close but they are expensive.
I got this I am happy with that item good price good quality and very very good 3 season jacket
Dc traffic is rowdy and hot. Had to get the white gear.
Woah how does Large fit for Nelson ? I got an Tornado 2 HV jacket size large, but it kinda too small for me with liner and I'm 5'11'', 190lbs and 40'' chest on good day. Been thinking about getting Tornado 3 because I like that they improved the liner. Liner on Tornado 2 runs small and is overall a bit finicky to work with.
Based on your measurements, I would go with size Large on the Tornado 3, and the liner should fit you better than the 2. -DrewZilla

Holy shit. I’m 5’6. 200lbs. And wears both 2xl pants and jackets. Tornado 3.
Will the pants fit over adventure boots like the Sidi Adventure 2?
It would be tight since these pants are designed to go over touring boots instead of the more ADV designed Adventures, but you would be able to get them over. Again, it will be snug but I think you will be just fine. What does “destination jacket” mean
They mean, when you get to where you're going you can wear the inner liner as a regular jacket
Nice
So basically the only good new thing is the adjustment in the arms, meh
Did you watch the video? Everything is different except the location of the mesh vents.
I came here for jacket and I cannot get my eyes of off talking guy (girl here)...
