We then look for the reason why and find out to which company we can trace it back. Unfortunately Australia has a lot of remote wilderness abused by companies for hidden toxic dumping and deforestation ( even certain government secretly approved ) areas. We are starting to fight back now though with disclosure of past abuses.

Not sure where you are from, but when you are ready and able to come to OZ, there are a heap of Zoos around the country that allow you hold a koala and have photos taken. I'm sure there are some Zoos around the world that have koalas, but photo opportunities are probably limited. They are cute but very smelly 😃 Also, their claws can be sharp, so don't wear your best top !

I love Australia! I'd love to visit sometime soon! Hopefully I end up seeing a wild koala, they look so dam cute. But with my luck I'd end up seeing a huntsman spider.
The huntsman spiders have their own beauty too. Very soft and fluffy...and quite harmless! They don't have webs and they gallop majestically across the walls.☺

I think most zoos in Australia are the same. But as for wild ones, you would have to be a good tree climber, cause they spend 95% of their time up in the trees eating eucalyptus gum leaves. It is very rare to see one on the ground like this.
Unfortunately, when you see Koalas in town, it is mostly them that get hit by a car especially during night time when it is dark and you barely see them. I hope this cute little fellow is still alive! :-/
