I completely agree with your statement about the comforters not being big enough anymore! When I was a kid, I remember the comforter fully covering the sides and foot of the bed easily. Now they just don't seem to fit anymore! We have a queen size bed so I just buy a king size comforter and that fixes the problem but you can't really do that with a king size bed since there really isn't anything bigger!

Yes! I have the same problem with my comforter! I’ve had to start going up a size and still sometimes have issues. My is a queen so I get a king and sometimes it works and sometimes I have to take it back all together. It’s so irritating to me. Thank you for the motivation! My catch all is my dining room table. I try and try to keep it uncluttered but it isn't working. What a wonderful idea to go on a girl's trip. I know it will help. I just lost my husband of 47 years six months ago and my daughter-in-laws have done several girl dates, concerts, and coffees. It helped immensely.

I think the reason comforters are short on the sides is because you can see the dust ruffle, but most don't come with one any more ! I got a king size for my queen bed, and I love that it comes down further ! But you can't do that with the king ! I look forward to your videos every week ! Your one of the first cleaning channels I started watching a long time ago ! 🩵💙
Also something you can try is. Have you ever tried turning your comforter sideways if? You know what. I? Mean sometimes you get the length that you need where you need it and still have it fit at the bottom and the top. I had to do one of mine that way.

Our boys are the same age! So fun to see their little minds work. Regarding the comforter… maybe it has to do with if you have a California king or regular king. Cal king is longer, but shorter width is my understanding.
I had the same problem with my king size comforters being too small. I recently went to Target and bought a new Casaluna comforter but in a California King size and that worked great!!

Maybe you have a California King sized bed instead of a regular King. Try to buy sheets and comforters for California King size and see if they fit better. 😊
I have the same identical bed as you do and mine is the same. I always have to go with a California kind of comforter or anything like that in order for it to be long enough on the sides. Our bed is a king size but I have to go with a California king size. And there is a difference and I and I think too that the more we wash our comforter sets. If we dry them it does shrink them up a little bit. But my bed is identical to yours. cause if you remember you said you had lost a pillowcase and I asked. Did you check in behind the drawers at the end of the bed? That's where I found mine.

You might need what is called a California King sized comforter. They are usually a bit wider.
