Hi thanks for the video , I’m in the uk , is there a recommended cleanser, toner , moisturiser set you would recommend to use that covers all skin types ? , also what other treatments could you incorporate microdermabrasion with eg would it work alongside Dermaplaning afterwards? Thank you, Rachel! I like products for all skin types from Image Skincare, Dermalogica, and Shira Esthetics. As far as incorporating additional treatments it depends on what you need to continue improving after microdermabrasion. If you need to boost exfoliation I would either do an enzyme peel before microdermabrasion or Dermaplaning after microdermabrasion. If you want to rejuvenate or tighten the skin after microdermabrasion I would use an LED light, ultrasonic, RF or light microneedling.
This is great , the enzyme peel I use is from a company called clinicare so would be ideal to use , wasn’t sure about Microneedling afterwards I thought it might be to much controlled trauma or stimulation on the skin but I will give it a go , one more question for now 😂, is microdermabrasion suitable for pregnant mums ? Thanks so much you’ve been a huge help love your videos even came across the LED light video. If I return to New York I will be booking my self in 🙂 x

Thank you for your question!Yes absolutely, before microdermabrasion you can use an ultrasonic spatula or blackhead remover/suction device for really congested skin. After the microderm, especially if you do extractions you can use HF, but also galvanic, LED, microcurrent and Ultrasonics can be used. I would avoid incorporating chemical peel, enzyme peels are ok in most cases. and no microneedling, it's too abrasive. You could also do Dermaplaning after light microdermabrasion.

Yes you can, remember that sonic technology offers an extremely rapid vibration so it allows for better penetration, just keep in mind the lighter the product is( in viscosity and molecular structure) the better it will penetrate. Water base products do best with ultrasound and electrotherapies.

Thank you for your question, the suction part of it is the same, with peer control that is no different than my recommended machine. You may find that you will replace the diamond tips more often if you do a lot of microdermabrasion treatments but the are not expensive, I get extra ones anyways because I replace sometimes up to 4-5 tips in one treatment. Hope that helps.
What Fluid do you put in the bottle to spray on the face?
Good question, floral waters/tonics would be best as usually after microdermabrasion we want to rehydrate the skin. Rose water is great or any floral waters work. Sometimes, for oily skin I would use a toner for oily skin and direct the mist closer than 15” (the general distance from the face) to flush out pores after microdermabrasion.
Very nice can I do peeling after?
I am not a big fan of peeling after microdermabrasion. You can do a light enzyme peel before. But a chemical peel can cause scabbing after microdermabrasion so be careful with using peels after microdermabrasion.

I like 2 brands that have soft but effective enzyme peels: The signature facelift and Ormedic lift by Image skincare. Also, Shira esthetics has good choices enzymes. Check them out.
