@@cookiezz_9601 for a little more in depth explanation, and this is just from my testing, the speed you get from a slope is stored until you slow down significantly or get momentum from a slope going the other direction. this affects the speed of dash orbs and force blocks. the dash orb momentum can be switched to the other direction only if you input the opposite direction after you hit and release the dash orb (not sure if this is true, just from my experience) which is what is happening at 0:05 to 0:07
