During my high school years, 90s, she was Women’s Chinese volleyball coach for the GOAT team with Sun Yue, Lai, and others who brought them to glory playing against World’s greatest, Cuba, and Russia, Brazil, USA, Italy. I am a big fan, respect. 😌

When Olympics started Chinese women volleyball team was my favourite and so for many others not because they were the reigning champion but because they have a good and experience team combination but it's a game sometime you lose and sometimes you win. However it hurts me when you couldn't qualify for the quarterfinals and I couldn't believe myself. Anyway, every dog has it's own day. Still you are the best and will be my favourite team even in the days to come.
Injuries is part of the game although not to blame the outcome but it does make the difference as long China have resiliency and work hard Chinese women volleyball team going bounce back despite what happened in Tokyo coach lang peng had great career won championship as a coach and as player

She's the best. This Olympics I couldn't stop thinking about 1984, when she led the women's team to gold as a player, and of this Olympics' U.S. women's coach, Karch Kiraly, who led the men's team to gold as a player. Over the past four decades, these two have elevated the sport more than anyone.
The love and tears from the players say it all...their coach was more than a coach to them.God bless all of you ..you are all champions.

China was set up in the Death Group...too many high level teams. Even the host country Japan could not qualify for the Knock-out stage, and it was a very sad result for the japanese volleyball.
Love her forever, she is my best. Love Chinese Volleyball Team.
This was painful to watch…but I’m sure they will comeback stronger than ever .Paris 2024 is the next stop

covid really put timing and peaking out of wack for many teams, China were on fire in 2019 ready for 2020. but 2021 China are back at all pistons firing, China team B beat Brazil and there are many exciting competitions ahead, Womans volleyball is epic. Thanks for all the great work. "Leap" is a great movie about the China volleyball team and history. Truly captivating. LangPing make created the story of China Volley ball and brought it to where it is today, and these players with their inspiration and team camaraderie are just pure love to watch, they inspired a nation, it was more than volley ball at that time in the 80`s, it was showing the world China deserved respect and recognition once more. They`ve achieved mountains since then in less than half a lifetime both in volley ball and as a Nation.

funny how the teams that hid their best players on the 2021 season (ITA, SRB, CHN) won't be making it to the finals. Lang Ping is a legend, sadly, she and her team didn't make it far in Tokyo.
Actually serbia did quite well ...managed to reach the semis and win bronze without brankica...cant say the same about china ...there was so much talk about them saying they're the best and it's going to be back to back ...now look what happened..

I was surprised too when they couldnt make it to qf. They showed a superb performance during the world championship. I mean, why???? 😭
Well just a game. Sometime you win , but sometime you also will lose. This is so normal.
I think peaking, 2020 was covid and as finely tuned athletes you have to peak at the right time, with all the stress and lock downs, its normal for focus and stress to take their toll, hard to reach flow in this state, China had serious lock down enforced.

Stop skinny shaming man. Its not how wide or muscles you have. So many men out there in gym who are full of muscles even in their groin area but when you test their strength and stamina they are weak AF. If those Chinese volleyball players are weak as you think then how come they beat wide-boned women of Europe and America in Olympics Rio 2016?

Jenny Lang Ping did great. She was a great player in 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, and a best Coach for Women's Team China in 1996, Team USA in 2008, and 2016 Team China, and in 2021. I'm so sad. I want her to stay. (Sobbing)
