1. The Passion Of Reverend Ruckus 2. Attack Of The Killer Kung-Fu Wolf Bitch 3. The Colour Ruckus 4. A Date With The Health Inspector (classic) 5. The Story Of Thugnificent
Exactly. IMO thats the whole point of the episode. Trauma truly is passed down from generation to generation. That's why understanding and learning our history is so important
@@Zay-i1l though I think she mean the majority because it definitely is the majority. I just laughed. By this time most black people don't know they're Israel. Literally told in the bible. Fits no other race. And some are just plan ignorant. Hence you 😂. Ignorant is bliss for most though. Most need to read a damn book even if it's not the bible. So uninformed. I won't say stupid *cough*
Ruckus grandma is the epitome of "somehow the most evil people always live the longest " she literally is like 150-180 years old based off this episode 😂 and robert freeman is 120 if im not mistaken
The story of Uncle Ruckus being adopted was obviously fake, but as far as him being kicked out, that was real.. His brothers confirmed it and ruckus admitted that his hatred of black people came from what Mister did to him.. The point of this episode is to show the aftermath of Jim Crow, which wasn’t that long ago. If you have a relative in their 60s, they lived it… I’ve heard stories from that decade from family members and others. So, the father’s story is not that far fetched..
I kinda see it more the internal debate about black identity, but with the different perspectives ramped up to comic extremes. White people and racism aren't really the point, they're just elements in the environment. The real story is about what is a black man or a black woman in a country were you can't trust society's judgement. And it's Boondocks, so it's going to be harshly critical of the failings of black culture.
God, this show was so good. They wouldn’t and couldn’t make something like this today in the west if their lives depended on it. They couldn’t even replicate 10% of this today.
“Meet Joe Budden” is a classic Brad Pitt movie. P.s. I get he said “Button”, meant Curious Case of Benjamin Button, & threw in some Meet Joe Black, but I like the alternate history where he said Budden.
This was a good episode. We get some cannon with Ruckus reverse vilago being true...Until the later episode show he is 100% black with DNA-and-Me or something to look at Ancestory. That when Ruckus goes to Freeman Family how they cope being Black. Also, Ruckus life was horrible and gain empathy to understand his horrible dad and grandmother given White people or their time period they grew-up in...How old are Rukus parents given he is in his 60s with his dad being 80s and his grandma being possible in her 90s-100s before they died? Mister said his mom been waiting to die for 96 years...Damn! Is hate the key for longevity or do the Ruckus have strong genes!?! I'm surprise she not in geunius Book of Guanius World Record if she in 120s and still quick or not having dementia. So they dealt with racism, generational trauma, and Jim Crow laws/Segregation. I really want to know why Ruckus mother like White People so much...Also how long has she been with her White-Lover? Months? Years? At least Ruckus brothers have wives, kids and were not abusive. True hardworkers and role models along with good brothers to Ruckus.

This episode showed generational trauma so well. You had to laugh at it to keep from crying
