25 years ago I was involved in an accident that damaged several feet of highway barriers. CT charged me $3500 for damage to its property which I had to pay. The driver of the car should be billed for the costs of this disaster. However I doubt that will happen as people today take little responsibility for what they do,
Traffic nightmare for days? Probably more like months at best.
The highway will reopen Monday. CT can get things done especially with 150,000 vehicles passing through. The damaged bridge was being torn down Friday and the highway will be resurfaced in the immediate area. The replacement bridge for local traffic will be done later.
Crews removed all the gasoline? Sure. It all didn't go up in flames. 🙄
Thats what you get for not giving uncle sam that oil
I can see how a car could have caused this accident. At 5:30 AM in the morning, I-95 is an open highway. Drivers treat I-95 and the Merritt Parkway like a racetrack. I hope the driver is charged and made to foot the bill.
Hah? Damaged overpass cause a state of emergency? You kidding right
They can crawl, like Skyler
Even when 95 reopens, I’d still completely avoid Connecticut
Thank you Jesus Christ that no one was injured✝️
