Glad you are sorted and always good to have AA or RAC cover....who can moan about not cleaning upbthe oil. Considerate van lifer doing what is right. Good job Mark
Oh Mark glad it was something simple and not clear out your van fund. Respect for buying the sand I would have gone with my bucket and spade down the beach lol . Thanks for another great Real video x
All sorted thanks to the RAC mechanic who thank the Lord knew what he was doing..😀and as you keep telling people the importance of having a van fund.. Also nice to see you were considerate of others and bought a bag of sand to cover and soak up the oil.. Not everyone would have done that so thankyou.. Take care Mark..🤠
Thanks for highlighting the issue with split diesel. You are legally responsible for oil or diesel spills from your vehicle and can be fined for leaving them. You also used kiln dried sand which will soak up the spill within minutes and can then be brushed away and disposed of, unlike builders sand which as you will know is usually damp. Thanks for being responsible and passing on the word 👍👍👍
Just subbed, as perhaps others did. So a silver lining at least. The RAC are very good to say the least! I’m thinking of renewing my membership with them.
Had a leak off connection fail lost half tank of Diesel engine was swimming and the under neath and back doors covered in diesel thought the smell was the injector cleaner but wasn’t there was no sign was owt wrong while driving 😌glad it was a simple fix and the rac man was a good man happy dayz
RAC are hit and miss, I’ve had great guys come out and muppets. They left me in a 6 berth motorhome massive broke down for 10 HOURS in Glen Coe on a bend!!!! Lucky I could make dinner and have a cup of tea, ended up calling police who then chased the RAC. Highland police are very different from Glasgow lol.Happy u r all fixed mate.❤️🙏
Good job you weren't in the middle of nowhere on France or the Highlands Of Scotland when that happened.... Maybe you need to pick a bone with your mate about the size of the tube he used as that could have been a real issue depending on your location..
Hi Mark, from Australia, just found your channel and love it, glad you got it sorted. We have road service here as well, unfortunatly in this woke society these days more often than not they are not allowed to do actual work on a broken down vehicle. We have to get extended coverage for towing as it is not unusual to be several hundred kilometers from a machanic. Being an Aussie I just love your no BS approach to your Vids. Cheers
A bit bad, him not really seeing you running properly - he supposed to see you on the road again, stationary does not cut it but hope it's ok when you do decide to move on . . . Could have been a lot worse 😮 GREEN FLAG are MUCH cheaper than AA/RAC - mostly ex- engineers anyway ... go ogle
The AA and RAC have got me out of a spot of bother several times over the years. Glad you got sorted.
Fair play mark for cleaning up bod
Good honest vid Mark. Respect for clearing up the fuel and making it safer for other road users
Thanks 👍
Leave no trace! Good lad 👍
Alls well that ends well, well done for cleaning up afterwards, you are a credit to the vanlife community !leave no trace 😊
Thanks 👍

Glad it was an easy fix, good job clearing up your mess, wasn’t there no sand on the beach 🏖️ lol
I’m glad you got going again & had a better experience than I did with the RAC 🙏
Good old R.A.C. hope you didnt lose too much fuel. Nice touch with the sand, love the motorcycle awareness. On the road again 👍
RAC dude was excellent, well done on the sand
Result!
Thought it may have been a diesel pump or something a bit expensive.
Cool, you can carry on your journeys
Cheers, Rob
I'm pleased you are sorted mark 👍
Well done buddy
All sorted. So happy for you. Not all heroes wear capes, some wear gloves😊
Glad it's sorted. Great touch putting the sand down.
Thoughts are with you, this also my worst nightmare, thankfully my brother has a car transporter 😬, phew, happy travels 🙏
Hey Tim 👋🏻 Glad to see you subbed to Marks channel 👍🏻 Happy Travelling my friend 🤣😁

Great job pity, no sand on that beach , happy days 😀
What a very helpful RAC guy 👍👍

You could do with 1 of them halfords advanced sets in your van m8 there a life saver
Glad it was only a silly little thing, best wishes to you both from Normandy, drive on......
Hi Mark. Just to say we do like your program / chanel good chap.

Glad you got it fixed ...if it's a temp fix get your home to a garage please
The temporary fix in my molar lasted fifty years.
Good job you weren't in the middle of nowhere on France or the Highlands Of Scotland when that happened.... Maybe you need to pick a bone with your mate about the size of the tube he used as that could have been a real issue depending on your location..
Lucky it weren't out in sticks with no signal or abroad , hope ye get timing belt done if you didnt already .
Try and clean that excess diesel off mate, it will eat rubber bushes and hoses etc 👍
Could have used the beach sand 😅
You could have phoned the police about the spillage - they are obliged to contact the council.- & they are obliged to tend to it.
Well done tho.
Classic vw engine, there’s always something wrong with them, something leaking somewhere
I didn't know they made vw vans that big
If I was you I would steam clean the engine Bay Area and get rid of the excess diesel dude

U had plenty sand cross the road 🤣🤣🤣
You went and bought sand? Is that a beach you’re parked up next to mark?🤪
Lack of maintenance sadly.
Not that bad mark. Easy fix .could of been worse
During half a century of driving countless miles across UK (and worldwide) I've never been a member of RAC or AA or any breakdown service.
Get rid of them sandals 😮
@mariogajewski6069 no they were gifted and really comfy
@@yvonnebailey24 OK but don't wear white socks with them
live to fight another day... 😎
RAC man seemed clueless😆
You had to point out the problem.
😂 True. Although give him credit for fitting a narrower gauge rubber hose.
