This was released on April 8 of 1991. I came home from the Gulf War on the 20th of that month so we all got into our double breasted suits and went to the clubs.......A LOT!!!! Amazing memories. Glad to be home and glad to be alive. I'm a bit messed up....but alive.
I remember being 17 and I was at camp. We were riding up to Hinkley, MN and this song came on KDWB before the signal went out. Summer of 91…Summer of my senior year. 31 years ago. Shit.
Was just at a freestyle concert today on Staten Island, NY...didn't know the full lineup until they were announced...well Lulu & Lala mentioned "Temptation" and I said Corina?? Lo & behold, there she was, amazing & smoking performer with a sense of humour, self-deprecating, keeping it real, curse words & everything...can't take the South Bronx out of the girl...she went through some tough breakups...I'd date her in a heartbeat...
This was always my favorite jam growing up!!! Every time it used to come on the radio, my grandma used to blast it no matter where we were!!! Good memories..
Big underrated song and talent from the late 80s early 90s, a timeless classic. I wonder if Corina is still active in the music.. I grew up listening to this song.
Corina performed last night in NYC and has new album out! She still dances like a hip hop artist! A unique launch party, tickets were available but sold out the night before
I love music from the 1950s until the early 1990s and this is one of the best dance numbers ever made. Some of the best music was made by one hit wonders as this one is. Being a vinyl collector this wasn't issued on a 45 in the USA so I had to have the record store order one from the UK. No way was I not going to have this gem on vinyl. Still have it today.
OH. MY. GOD. I have been looking for this song for THE LONGEST TIME!!! I swear to god, I had the cassette single of this, and I played it until it wore out and I had to buy another. t was played at EVERY party and we flooded the floor to it - so many good memories for this great tune - finding this has made my day (Can you tell? Overexcited!) x x x x x
Oh my GOD you even reply to your fans!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Are you even still recording / performing / playing? Your voice is so good - I have been playing this nonstop - all my love to you!!! x x x x x x x x
+Andy Robson lol! You are very sweet. I try to respond as much as possible. Here's my website for info on what I'm doing theses days. Www.CorinaKattAyala.com I do have the best fans!!! Blessings love.
I enjoyed every drop of the 80s sound but I also liked this new sound. Problem is, in hindsight I wish it all lasted longer. When you're young you think everything will last forever and things will always get better. History has proved that shit aint true.
Fantastic and finding this is like finding an old friend. Had the "cassingle" and listened to it nonstop. Still holds up as a great pop track, and one of the best of that decade for sure. Might do a cover of it for fun, although nothing will hold a candle to the original. This is coming back on heavy rotation for me :-)
This song and a few others takes me back to when I was 11 years old at the skating rink. Holding hands with girls and chewing each other's gum. It was an innocent time when we didn't have social media and people weren't so afraid of each other. I feel like these kids that grow up today really miss something important that we took for granted. I feel like we really know what it was like to fall in love in a deep way. This song reminds me of when the future felt so bright that my heart could well up so big that could explode. It invokes my favorite emotion, which is being happy and sad at the same time.
Magnificent song, truly timeless, slinky as f***, with a big beat that can still shake dancefloors today. I know; I played it at Medika in Zagreb a couple weeks back. B-)
Love this song in the 1990's and to this day October 8th, 2020 and forever!! I feel like a teenager all over again at the roller skating rink. Miss those days!!!♥️
Such a great beat to dance to, definitely one of those "set the track on repeat play" songs! I haven't heard it in a while...I miss this kind of burn-up-the-dance-floor music. Thank you, Corina!💃👏💕
Same producer as “Together Forever” by Lisette Melendez. They beat mix together beautifully, you can easily glide back and forth between the two tracks and keep the floor moving.
I remember hearing this on the radio while riding in the car with my mom when it was huge. Didn’t know the name of the song or who sang it but a few years ago thanks to 90s On 9 on Sirius XM I finally found out. Thanks for bringing this slammin dance song, (and video) to UA-cam . I really appreciate it. Thanks again.👍🏾✌🏾
I remember very well this beautiful song of 1991 (I was 17 in that time), before to go to school. I've listened it many times to the radio. Finally, I've found it! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I remember this dope track from high school. To me, it's like a second wave of Free style music. The synths and beats sound different to that of Expose, Stevie B, The Cover Girls, Debbie Deb, and Jocelyn Enriquez.
This is real music not the bullshit ppl are getting fed today and as for the 12 dislikes it's obvious those are ppl that don't know good music and didn't grow up listening to freestyle.
Your absolutely right but there r a few good songs today. This is classic. The people that gave it a thumbs down r deaf, don't dance or don't know what the hell good music is. They don't feel the music. Dead fucks. Freestyle is great dance music. I can tell u cause Im a great dancer. No bragging. People tell me I am. As for us( the ones that love freestyle,) we will keep boogiing.
One of the very first woman I fell for and awed by her beauty. Her beauty, the way she dressed, the song and the way she moved is just perfect for me. Definitely one of my first crush when I was in high school during the 90s.
I forgot how hard this song slaps. I was mainly listening to stuff like Nirvana when this came out, but this track was inescapable at the time, and I've always liked it!
Of course I remember this as a teenager in the early 90's but I associate it with and have the best memories of it in the early 2000's working at a bewbie bar.. that was one of the best gigs in the whole world ever! 😄
I’ll forever love this song, it takes me back in time, and brings back so many great memories 😊 #ILoveYouCorinaKattAyala 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼✝️🙏🏼 freestyle Diva Forever 🥰♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Back when I was in college, I was taking an anthropology class that stated on the syllabus that one could submit a presentation as a song. The teacher once lamented that nobody had ever done so...idea light over my head.... I wrote a rough example of one, just to show it could be done..."Temptation" became an overview of genetic change called "Mutation". My teacher about lost it and my classmates loved it.
Such a great voice for this tempo of song. I haven't heard any other Corina songs, but I imagine if she released slow, ballad-types, they'd be extraordinary as well. "Temptation," nevertheless, is a sure bright spot in a very saturated dance-pop genre of its time.
I remember seeing her in concert at the Whaling City Festival at Buttonwood Park in New Bedford, where i was born & raised 😊 my God, how this world has changed....
OMG I use to loveee this song! I think this came out in 1990 I was 14 and thought I was so cool hahahaha those were definitely the days! I'm glad I found this brings back great memories and listen to that beat DAMN!!!!!!❤️😎
This was released on April 8 of 1991. I came home from the Gulf War on the 20th of that month so we all got into our double breasted suits and went to the clubs.......A LOT!!!! Amazing memories. Glad to be home and glad to be alive. I'm a bit messed up....but alive.
Thank you for your service 🙏 and thank you for sharing this lovely sentiment. I appreciate you!
Club song I rember it well....time for the dance floor when this came on...27 yrr old and I was killing it with the dance floor 1991
This jam needs wayyy more love than its getting.
Absolutely!!!!!!!
This is the 90s x 4 !!!
We '80's kids were truly blessed by the good God...just listen and look at what we had back then!!!
30 plus years on, and this is still a MF-ing banger!
One of the best freestyle songs ever. This music is eternal
Great memories at friend’s parties in 1991! Reminds me if Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam! Thank you Corina!
Hey :) thank you so much for stopping by my channel. Please don't forget to subscribe. Blessings.
I remember my dad showed me this song when I was young and to this day we would jam out to this song In his car.
I love how this song took the 80s freestyle sound and KICKED it into the 90s! Darker, sleeker, sexier and more mysterious!
I remember being 17 and I was at camp. We were riding up to Hinkley, MN and this song came on KDWB before the signal went out. Summer of 91…Summer of my senior year. 31 years ago. Shit.
Her #6 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 from the spring and summer of 1991
I was 11 when this song came out. It was the first cassette single I ever bought. It’s still a f**king awesome song💯
I was 12, not quite yet 13. Had forgotten about it 'til I heard it on the radio. 😊❤️
Shouts out to being 11 in 91
I was only 8 when this came out.
Right on
This was always my favorite jam growing up!!! Every time it used to come on the radio, my grandma used to blast it no matter where we were!!! Good memories..
Good lord, i love this song.

Corina is most definitely not a one hit wonder at all. She has many hits and great hits they are. She is most definitely not a one hit wonder.

This is about when 90s club music started to sound unique with its beats and melodies and separate from its 80s club music predecessors.
THIS !!!!! 👍❤👍
I enjoyed every drop of the 80s sound but I also liked this new sound. Problem is, in hindsight I wish it all lasted longer. When you're young you think everything will last forever and things will always get better. History has proved that shit aint true.
First heard this on Sasha's DJ set back in the Rave days it's been a choon ever since then to me ...Quality.
Absolutely beautiful song and singer. Brings back a lot of great memories from the 90's
More than three decades later and this song is still a banger in the clubs.
This drumline was way ahead of the curve, and so was this music
Fantastic and finding this is like finding an old friend. Had the "cassingle" and listened to it nonstop. Still holds up as a great pop track, and one of the best of that decade for sure. Corina is such an amazing person that has so much heart and soul. Thank you for your contribution to music.

I heard this in the grocery store the other day! I loved this song since it came out!
I haven't heard this in public since early 90s. Lucky you! Another awesome hit of summer 91
Were you in the desert or wine isle when you heard it 😆
Love this song in the 1990's and to this day October 8th, 2020 and forever!! I feel like a teenager all over again at the roller skating rink. Miss those days!!!♥️

I've searched for this song so damn hard 4 I couldn't remember its title, her name not the lyrics but now, at last! 🙏🏼 tks God, who helped me out!
Same producer as “Together Forever” by Lisette Melendez. They beat mix together beautifully, you can easily glide back and forth between the two tracks and keep the floor moving.
It's the exact same beat

Its 2018 and i still listen and love this song..
"Temptation is a part of life
It doesn't matter if it's wrong or right"
Yep
Great track. Absolutely outstanding!

seems like yesterday at the studio...still an amazing song!

48 years young ;)
in 2022 this song still sounds better than all the crap and garbage they pass off as pop music today.
The golden era artist, when artists like Corina were true women of talent and when songs really had meaning.
