Cool stuff man. I am happy with the Haley micro but love the content and enjoy the more medical perspective you are bringing. Thanks for the good content and for what you do!
Thank you for your extensive public service. “Going unarmed into a tactical environment,” must be Colorado feel good medic de core. Multi cam is designed for reduced visibility in a Non urban environments ( woods, fields, etc) oddly the majority aof LE, SWAT, etc are going for the military look in an urban environment. I’m not criticizing the video or your service, just observations
Totally get where you are coming from. Unfortunately a majority of SWAT medics in the US are unarmed. We use multicam due to the county SWAT team operating in hyper rural areas and mountains. Our city team is black but we don’t have the budget to have two different color uniforms and armor.
Great vid. I have a Maximus placard and I absolutely love it. I run battle rattle infantry setup (7 mags) min. I have my IFAK on my left rear & med pouch in the front with my admin pouch next to it. Perfect to use on downed personnel ensuring that your IFAK is left untouched & ready to be used on you as intended. QUESTION!!! Where did you get that American flag with your info & blood type??? Pls & thank you
Its nice because in the two front pouches there is a inner pouch that can fit a standard stanag mag pretty well, just zip the pouch closed around it and it fits nicely making it a 5 mag loadout
patch panel has a great selection as far as customizable patches go, i got mine from them with the same design + optional IR material on the text. only downside is that the company is from canada so unless you’re native canadian the shipping takes a good while
I like it. I don't love it. You though, are a braver man than I, sir. When I was ERT medic, or even before being LE or a medic, doing SA work, I was armed, always. I really respect that you're willing to go in without your own weapons. I know you have a tactical partner to protect you, but still. Be safe brother. Btw, your channel is better than Skinny Medic anyway. I'll keep the details to myself on that one.
So you can’t remove the 2 general purpose pouches? Or anything from it. What I’m trying to ask is are the parts of it removable or is everything fixed?
If you can't wait... I do A LOT of mods myself... I also have a local Seamstress make/modify my gear, following drawings I make for her. Find a local that has rigging skill sets and support them... Been doing this for aver 30yrs now.
"muzzle for a dog"...does this mean that you can also do first aid on animals as well as humans? if so is it just the same as human first aid or did you have to do a veterinary course to get certified?
Dumb question, but where did you get the elastic loops with Velcro you use on the inside of the pouch flap? Just got a Maximus and can’t find the loops big enough to hold a bandage that have velcro on the back anywhere! Thank you.
@@PrepMedic they have a coating, but that coating, like all coatings, is subject to damage, and can't be replaced the way that a simple cover would be. it seems like the process is gradual, but you can tell the difference with something like a plateframe carrier after one summer in the sun.
I work for a local SO. I am an RN by trade, turned Jailer and EMT. Policy dictates that I may carry while being deployed with SRT. Now, I have passed the qual, both shooting and physical portions as part of the stipulation to carry. Point is, it depends on the dept.
Once again, after a week or so of looking for something really specific in vain, this hero puts out a video and solves the problem.
Sweet stuff. As a member of a USAR and WFF Team I would like to see some of the tactical gear in general rescue teams ….

Split the difference and get Multicam Black
@@robertdole5391 MultiCam can work in both environments. Multicam Black would really only be "useful" in urban.

Yeah man, that is pretty nuts. I would not like doing that.
Hey Sam im just an hvac guy that watches your vids the gun stuff is whatever I just wanna learn how to help the people I work with
As a fighter in the israeli army i find this channel very ussfful
So you can’t remove the 2 general purpose pouches? Or anything from it. What I’m trying to ask is are the parts of it removable or is everything fixed?
I want to see Sam's resume. It seems he has worn every hat in public safety.
He did a video somewhat along those lines. Really interesting.
@@huntermcdoogle4271 Probably due for an update video, that one was about 2 years and 3 roles ago lol
@@PrepMedic dude, you need to slow down! 😂
Im about to swap out a haley d3crm for this. I like the kywi-esk side pouches and compartmentalization. Do you still run this?

I own the vest from that company and that with the 3 mags behind it
What product did you use to convert the kangaroo into an admin?

I second this question where did you get the loops with Velcro?
Would you not put a triple mag pouch instead?
you need a plate cover inside those open platebags, to have to protect the plates from UV
My understanding with these plates is that they have a protective coating and do not need a UV cover
@@PrepMedic they have a coating, but that coating, like all coatings, is subject to damage, and can't be replaced the way that a simple cover would be. it seems like the process is gradual, but you can tell the difference with something like a plateframe carrier after one summer in the sun.
@PrepMedic idk maybe you have the scratch to just keep buying new plates, but if you don't want to do that, a cover is a good investment.
Bro you you actually have a beef with SkinnyMedic or what? I love both of your videos and I'm so confused
Think so. But in a nice way. Two nice guys like them can’t be wrong, can’t they?
Lol nah. We collaborate on things all the time and we have been cohosting his podcast pretty regularly lately.
@@PrepMedic For sure man, I'm glad to see you guys have a sense of humor. Thanks for the work you guys do!
Which carrier is he using here
The admin pocket zipper from HRT or other ?
WHY IS YOUR HAIR SO FUCKING NICE
Love your videos, man!
Great vid!
Thank you!
How would that work if you don’t have a lot of Velcro on your vest.
Molle on some Velcro.
Reddit AMA please
the color of multicam webbing is kind of wired
Do you miss being sworn? What has changed ever since you are non-sworn?
Does it come with the rifle mag insert??
Yes
Just got one, thanks for the info
