This show is The Best!! Im stuck in Melbourne Australia & my family are in NZ. I have terminal cancer and want to go home after I do a roadtrip around Australia...I miss NZ when I watch these AMAZING people. 🙏💥💯
I do hope you get home to your family. I was diagnosed last week with breast cancer. I won’t know until after the lymph nodes are tested , if the cancer has spread . The surgery is coming up. I know I won’t need chemo but will have radiation if there is cancer in the lymph nodes. Are you there because of COVID 19 . I pray you get back to your family.
We send our love and blessings your way, thank you so much for watching, I am sure New Zealand misses you as well. Praying for a miracle, May you be comfortable and safe
@@4seenfamily551 thank you sooo much. This is such a tough time for all. I watch these amazing people on attitude & its so inspiring seeing how people cope with life. It blows me away...💞
As a completely blind person, it's fantastic to see awareness being raised that we're not completely helpless, and can, infact, do many things indipendently.., like having a family. I wanted to thank both the family and NZOnAir for such a realistic and non-judgmental depiction of the realities of living with no site. I went to a specialest school for the blind in England, so I sometimes forget how non-disabled people see us and what we can or can't do. Speaking as a musician and music teacher it's also graite to find large groups of people willing to work together in such a productive and constructive way. Although, does anyone know if the studio engineers and producers were blind as well?
This doc made my heart happy. This family is so patient and kind to one another . You can feel the love and respect they have for each other . This is what a healthy and happy family looks like . 💕💕💕
Thank you very much for watching, and for your lovely comment. We appreciate your support. I confess, it is difficult to find other families with similar values to associate with in this day and age 😄🥰 so sadly we keep mostly to ourselves. Many blessings
@4SEEN FAMILY - I am having one of those anxious, sleepless nights though it's 2:35 am EST, USA, so I picked up my tablet, and here we are.🙋🏾♀️ Samantha, your voice, whether speaking or singing, is so soothing. I love the complete family interaction that you have with your beautiful and handsome sons!! I have 5 children, and I had my hands full, ending up a single mom, then grandmother, and now, a great-grandmother. I say all that to say this: Jason and Samantha, the words you share about each other, the aspirations you have for your children/family, just blessed me😇😇😇 And of course, your proud Father 💯% supports you, the smile on his face when he speaks of you and your family, my goodness. Your family story has been like a ray of sunshine for me, at this moment. You all are living proof that IT CAN BE DONE. You are encouraging me, and I hope someone else, just by being yourselves 👏🏾👏🏾 Many Blessings to you and yours. 💞💞
I was having a not so awesome morning and I came back for some inspiration myself, thank you for your beautiful words we are blessed by your compliments 🥰 The struggle for us as sincerely real at the moment, but love Will keep us alive, we appreciate the blessings and prayers and the lovely words, pray you and your family are also blessed many times over. I only dream of becoming a great grandmother myself and being alive to enjoy it, you are an inspiration yourself 🥇🥇😘
7.40 Can we all just take a moment to acknowledge how AWESOME little man’s MASSIVE green paper plane was ! It’s that big it could carry a fully grown man on it! 💕😂👍🏻😜💕
Oh thank goodness, I have been trying to tell my husband that we are not the only parents who have that particular struggle, :-) thank you for sharing, and appreciate your support
4SEEN FAMILY Y’all are in good company in the mad scramble right before we leave every single time. SHOES! “WHERE ARE YOUR SHOES CHILD???” 30 min later “Why were your shoes on the fridge?” 😂😂😂
Beautiful family, mum and dad yous are doing a great job well done your children are blessings and you both have brought up wonderfully, .. oh Lord what a beautiful voice you have🥰😊👍
Rongopai Hiku our children are certainly blessings, thank you so very much for your kind words and comment. Our good Lord certainly deserves the credit for the voice I have been blessed with also, and for our ability to persevere through life. NGA Mihi Mahana.
What an amazing family! It makes my own struggles seem insignificant when I watch inspiring shows like this. Sam and Jason are exceptional parents; two brilliant individuals we could all learn from 🥰 It makes me so thankful that myself and my children have our sight (and hearing), I’m just in awe at how Sam & Jason navigate through life so efficiently and so positively. What well-mannered children these gorgeous boys are as well! You should be so proud of yourselves Sam & Jason! I sure am! 😀 Big thanks to this channel too! I love all these shows and am so grateful to all the families and individuals that allow me/us into their lives each episode. You’re ALL amazing 🤩❤️ Loads of love and best wishes to each and every one of you, - Rach (from Australia 🇦🇺😁)
Wow! What a family. I saw a video on a British family with two legally blind parents that kept having babies and expected their two oldest girls to do all the work while the mom and dad for the most part stayed out of the way and their reason for having all the children they did was so that they would have help when they were old, pretty much forgetting the fact that their kids were doing most everything already. The younger kids were filthy and those in diapers had to wait for their sisters to get home to change the poopy diapers. Even though the mom was perfectly capable of holding the baby and giving them a bottle, that got passed off tot he daughters as well. Dad did some stuff, but they lived in a fantasy world that they were 'self-sufficient'. Now this family is 'self-sufficient'. I think Sam would have been appalled to be seen as a mother that didn't give the baby its bottle and I am pretty sure she changed diapers. They are interacting with those kids constantly. Raising kids with a disability is doable. The children for what helo they give have to know it is appreciated and that mom and dad love and care for them. Fantastic story here!
Gail Rodgers thank you very much for your comment, I am certainly appalled to read the portrayal of that family you are talking about! I am definitely a champion of the all members of the family should contribute mentality, but leaving the poor darlings in their dirty nappies until the older siblings get home? My babies have never had to Touch a dirty nappy unless it is to take it to the rubbish bin, in fact they are currently begging that if we have more babies they will change nappies but I won’t have it. Why have babies if you don’t want to nurture them? I was clearly very affected by that story 😂😂🤣 my sincere apologies. It’s just I have come up against so many prejudicial people who probably saw the same story and think we are in capable, that our children are somehow disadvantaged by our disability, even that they would be better off being raised by other families. I am at least glad we are able to get our story out there to show how absolutely possible it is for anyone with the right attitude/mentality. Much appreciation from our family to yours.
Helo is a military term for helicopter. How can you be a helo parent, if you cannot see what's going on, drive to and pop in the school classroom to see what your child is doing, read their homework and help them study, etc?
Deborah Kennedy when you rely on your ears most of all it is relatively easy to monitor the boys even when not being in the same. Also we are heavily involved with the school as volunteers with Parent groups and other projects They Have going on. Also with voice Technology Home work and Online work due to lockdown is easily accessible on the iPhone. Emails and Parent teacher interviews are also Not a problem at all as the school is About 2km from our residential address.
I am watching this in Ben Lomond, California small town up in the Santa Cruz mountains. This was such a wonderful story to watch and hear through their words. Thank you. Beautiful family!
They are smart. That’s what my family just drives for as well, we have not been blessed with human children yet but your best bet we will work together with them. Just like we already do with each other. I agree with her on the Believe that the children not having disabilities is a privilege. There are people that do not have what they have. I’ve never thought of it that way but I guess I think of it the same. The people that think it is strict can afford to just not teach their children these things because it’s not part of their lives.
Great doc, tried Googleing the family to see if maybe they had a youtube channel or something only to find an article about how they are Morman. What the heck????
I have to tell you we are definitely not Mormon, we are Christians though and do not denominate ourselves. I hope that is at least appropriate. We like to teach our children to love their neighbours as Jesus taught no matter who they are or where they come from

I like the moms personality!
