I always loved how watercolors look I bought a set a while ago but using them for me feels like taming a wild horse. I feel like I'm fighting paints instead of working with them so I have so much respect for you 😩🥲

When it comes to watercolors and you want sharp and precise lines, when it comes to natural hairs, sable brushes are not as floppy as squirrel ones and they still hold a lot of water.

Quick tip from another art UA-camr: lock the focus on your paper so that the camera doesn't try to focus on your hand/brush. On iPhone, if you're using that, just press and hold on the screen before you start the video.

I honestly didn't even know that you were supposed to saturate the paper to get different things done, think I might give water colour another go 😂. I've been staying safe, pens and copics for the most part 😅

Very beautiful painting.
I love the colours you chose for this one! I'm not sure it needed those final gouache touches (apart from the white highlights, which definitely made those areas pop), I think I preferred it when it had that more luminous quality of the watercolours in the hair, particularly. But that's probably just me. 😁
