- We are sowing the one acre field with a contractors mix. The contractors mix is 80% Kentucky 31 fescue and 20% rye grass. We are hoping to grow a lush green yard and mow a nice fairway to create a beautiful backyard golf hole. Our dream golf homestead is so close to ready for us to start moving in!
Equipment used:

Can’t wait to see all this grass growing in
Great channel! Looks like things are really coming together!
Thanks! I’m looking forward to spring weather so I can get back to work!
Genuinely amazing, and what a property! We live in Jersey, Channel Islands (9 miles by 5 miles big) and could only dream of such space... 😀Hoping to re-model our front yard/driveway in the next few weeks and we're definitely considering a small putting green. Can't wait to follow your quest for the ideal golf yard over the next few months and especially come spring - the grass will look fantastic when it grows through!
Thanks!! I’m guessing it will take a few years to get it perfect, but I do believe next spring it should start looking really good! Thanks for following along!!
love following the progress
Thanks for following along!
Stumbled across your channel. Love the build progress and look forward to seeing how it comes out. Truly impressed. Next question is how I can do this on my property 🤔
Thanks!! Just start daydream shopping for land…That’s how this all got started nearly 10 years ago!
i spotted the road leading down to your house, would be awesome to make a teebox at the top so it could play as a par 5 aswell
I’ve got a tee box up there already at 182 yards. If I went all the way to the top at the fence I could make it 225 yards. Only problem is that we would likely take out the power boxes that run the house…😆😆
