Happy New Year to you and your family, Alan!
It seems CW is not interested in retaining customers, they only want to snag them one time! Why do I say this? Because they consistently try to bamboozle the customer! Once folks have the experience, they don't want to return. Heck of a way to do business. "We don't cover broken bolts"?! What kind of nonsense is this?!

Im sorry, I don’t need more headaches in my life. Im staying as far away as possible from an industry and lifestyle that is over marketed and controlled by now big business designed to take my money with no consequences or culpability. Run future RVers.

There is no perfect RV but there are crappy dealers. Watch who you buy from.

Camping World is the last place I would ever buy an RV from.

I have bought 2 different rvs since 2017 and both were used from 2 different independent rv dealers. Both times I did not get an inspection but bought esp and I was fortunate they stood behind the esp and repaired the problems without hesitation and yes I was a newbie and got lucky. I still have one of those rvs and use it when I get the chance. I’m not mentioning any names but there is another channel I watch sometimes ( hint white ford dually) that seems to think that the problems with the new rvs isn’t that big of a deal and it burns me up. Not all people have the money to fix problems that comes with a lot of new rvs and I think that rv dealers that sale an rv should have the same duties of a car dealership and repair the problems in a timely manner but we know that won’t happen. The only way to change the behavior of these companies is to stop buying anything for about 6 months and things will change. I will from now on hire an inspector before I ever buy another one and that you can smoke in your pipe. Good video Wingman

I’ve been building houses, remodeling, repairing plumbing, electrical, framing, siding, you name it. I did body repair and painting 44 years ago. I’ve been a financial advisor for over 32 years, so I’m no dummy. I spent 3 months researching, shopping and bought a Jayco based on historical quality. All that said, I’d never buy a new camper again, and I have a good private dealer. The campers are just slapped together. I bought it at age 63 to enjoy in retirement, and although I’ve had more minor issues than these crises that I’m seeing, but my slide has been adjusted 5 times. The slide seal was replaced and it still wouldn’t function properly. Other crappy construction. I’m getting ready to take mine back for more issues and giving them a chance to work with me and Jayco to make me happy. Since it was new, I noticed some issues with the roof that concern me, but they blew it off as “nothing to worry about”. Even the technicians have drank the cool-aide and say stuff like. “Jerry, if you have a camper, you have to accept they always break and you have to fix them”. Bull hockey, lol. If they don’t make it right, you’re going to get a chance to see me interviewed by Alan. I’ll make sure nobody that watches the wingman will ever touch a Jayco, or any other new camper again. I don’t care if they all go bust. $35,000 is the largest check I have ever written up front, and while small in comparison to some, it was a big deal, and represents a lot of sweat and blood, and I’m not accepting their nonsense. Thanks Alan, you keep busting their chops, see you soon.

@@jerrytalley802Don't buy it when they say your roof concerns aren't genuine. We complained on multiple occasions about "bubbles" on our roof and were told they're "off-gassing" and "cosmetic". 2 months later, the entire roof blew up like a hot air balloon on the highway. Our unit has been out of service since Oct 31. It took a month, but the factory finally approved a new roof. Two months later, WE'RE STILL WAITING! Our entire winter season in FL has been ruined.

Wow! Sorry for your misfortune. Yup, no craftsmanship any longer sticks and glue . I actually bought an all fiberglass Casita travel trailer. That was 5 years ago and have had no issues at all . Hopefully, maybe you can get the kinks fixed with the Jayco . 😁👍

I sold my dealership, we did everything. When I sold they eliminated alot of profit generators I had. The people they hired to run it had no experience thus upsetting alot of my customers. They started doing winterizes free to get customers. And then made appointments and did not keep them. It drives me crazy, but I'm sorry to say I got my money, I just have t apologize for them.

Thought I would give you a shout out this way
I sent a couple of emails and what I would like to do is be preemptive on trading in my TC for a class C.
I can go wherever I need to in order to make this happen.
I think going to someone you recommend will hopefully save me a lot of headaches.
Thanks for your time and all the effort you put in to informing and helping people through their issues.

Mr. wingman I listened to you for a while on your channel and I know you try so hard to help the people that are out there but every video that I saw from people having problems with their van or their RV spend more time in the shop then enjoying the RV these dealers all they’re looking to do is make money however way they can as far as the extended war with tease that they don’t wanna fix the things that are supposed to be fixed People I know spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on their RV and now this new law going to affect where you can’t use a certain RV and five or six states and I guarantee you they’ll be more states to follow so the RV industry is going down the toilet and I don’t think it’ll ever come backbut thank you for your service. You do a great job.

Owners need to complain long and loud when problems occur, or the industry won’t change, complain direct to the factory and not just your dealer.

His first mistake was buying from C W, second was putting up with that POS they sold him I would paint it yellow and park it in front of the dealership. Third give it back to the bank. ESP is a joke, if you play you must pay. I would go back to manufacturers.
