Andrea Runs the World Day 36: Crossing Borders: Climbing Christo Redentor into Chile

Join me on Day 36 of my World Run as I conquer Christo Redentor, the breathtaking pass between Argentina and Chile! With the main tunnel closed to pedestrians and cyclists, I had to take the steep, dusty mountain road at 3,800 meters above sea level. Thanks to Carlos and his amazing team, my buggy made it safely to the summit, while I experienced the climb on foot.
From the stunning mountain views to an exhilarating descent into Chile, this day was full of emotions, challenges, and gratitude. Crossing the border into a new country felt surreal, and I ended the day with a little celebration at Hotel Portillo, overlooking the majestic Laguna del Inca.
