Great ideas for budget meals from one chicken Andy. Thank you for including how much the electricity used cost. Hopefully people will see you can cook delicious meals without worrying about spending too much on electric. 👍
Isn't it amazing how we can adjust our shopping and still come up with something lovely? No one would go hungry with those three menu's you come up with Andy. Well done.
Thank you for all of that 'series' Andy and well done you. It shows what can be done with some imagination. A great help to people on a low budget, beats everything with chips or microwave meals doesn't it? Cheers
It's amazing what you can do with a chicken🐔. So far I've only been able to make two meals with a chicken and that's it. Half a chicken to myself one day and the other half the next 😂. But that's me being greedy😉. Cheers mate that's looking really tasty.👍
Crackin breakdown of all costs Andy, we all know now what a great deal a chicken is! I buy thighs and pretty well do the same thing….trays of them. That boy can eat!!! 👍
Great stuff Andy!... You can't really complain at making 12 meals from just the one 1.7Kg Fresh Whole Chicken mate... 👍 Many poorer families throughout the years... Have had to manage their meals like this as best they can... Unfortunately we're all guilty these days of wasting some food... But for some struggling families out there... Making the most of their food shopping is an absolute necessity... And they'll only ever dispose of food if it spoils... It's been a great little mini series of meals Andy... Keep up the great work pal... Cheers. 🍺
You did good Andy,it goes to show what can be done if someone tries. I think that was probably elephant garlic, more mild in taste. I don’t like those garlic presses, always sticks, cloves don’t fit, need to scrap it off, just annoys me, I either chop,or grate on a kitchen plane(hand held grater) I think if you think about it you could do multiple dinners off a piece of beef, might cost a bit more, but still a bargain. As you know I grew up during rationing, and my Mom made a lot of meals out of small piece of meat. You could roast it,then grind up some from cottage pie, spaghetti sauce, topping for pizza, filling for pasties, filling for samosas, keema curry,a beef barley soup, stuffing for peppers,or courgettes, and I think you could think of other things to do with a piece of cooked beef. Good luck Andy your subscribers love when you cook.😊
Hello Andy I make my own curry's but you used a spice I not heard of it was in a small jar I like to know what it was and where you got it from great cooking 👍🏻 jules
Andy used Garam Masala, and Kashmiri chili powder, I am in the US so here I buy mine from an Indian supermarket in big bags, but by the look of those jars they were from the supermarket, and your shops have many more Indian spices than ours do.
Far better than the rubbish Jamie Oliver meals for £1. Video he has out on a tv channel and there is a video on youtube. when most are not even a £1. unless your making a 12 people portion. there is a 49p basic curry sauce in Morrisons etc. the unbranded jars. and that's not a 400g portion heheehe bet you could have just made the flat bread since i was watching a video of some one making an onion bread and it was I think have the price. I think if you had portioned more, so only enough to make the 3 portions, you could have got another 3 portion meal out of the chicken
Honestly you’re such a great chef Andy. I’m blown away by there three chicken recipes! Well done mate!

Looked at video again and it was kashmiri chilli
Yeah it’s a good chilli not too harsh you can get it from Tesco or Asda and other supermarkets 👍
🎉🎉Hi All🎉🎉
Hi Lois 😊
Very nice and very cheap, what could be better? Lol!
Thanks
What about the cost of the chicken and didn't you use some milk??
The chicken was priced up in the first video part 1 👍
Definitely need a sharp knife mate! 😊 Otherwise everything lovely!😅
😂😂 thanks 👍
You didn’t include the price of the veg oil 🙈 it’s actually £32.60 per portion with the price of oil
😂😂
😂
Joint of beef next big man say 10 pounds in cost see what you can do with that thank you
Don’t know that would be a challenge as you don’t get much for money
