Oh yeah dude, that thing goes together so nicely, it really does look well made! Reminded me of my XV01/2 builds, especially the suspension. So much more metal on this one though, those diffs look beefy! Slurp! You made me join you with a tasty beverage there my friend! Oh yes, I think this one IS for me! Cheers! 🍺👌👍
It is a nice looking kit so far, all of it is looking top notch! The diffs make me laugh as they both look like little alien pods and I have never seen a downward angle like that on the input. I mean it looks like it work just fine and keeps the weight as low as possible. It just made me giggle a bit as it is not normal. I am liking what I see more and more!
Yes man! That is a K-razy angle for sure. I was a little put off thinking I did something wrong. ( Mainly because the instruct manual left a few guesses here and there). But it runs smoothly. I had to put a Sport tuned and 1060 in there as the max 10 combo's motor was a 3665... Way too big. the 5mm shaft is about a foot long lol... Stay tuned! And thanks for checking in!
So far so good. Too much snow to really try it out-outside. I am looking for a "pastel-grey" paint, can't find it anywhere.... Also, I a not sure how rough I can be with this one, though everything looks to be decent quality.... Cheers
Well, where would you be running it? So I think the XV02 is higher quality. I think more expensive. Very Capable without modding it. Very tuneable. The carten is Also really good for the price point. I have been racing it and doing well with it. They are both pretty good places to start honestly. I think the XV02 is somewhat better overall, but The carten is pretty awesome. Not sure you would go wrong with either choice.
Hey, so I have not yet tried the PTG. On my list. So the chassis is pretty tough. I wouldn’t send it or anything. But sturdy. The parts are all pretty decent quality. I have been racing it and it is awesome! Cheers
Why oh why turn this into a comedy show? All people want to see is the build not people throwing stuff with zero respect into a build table. All very strange.
Thanks for your opinion. I do as I enjoy for my hobby. Not sure how respect plays into this. Strange? Yes. However you will find all the necessary points of interest on the build are showcased. Have some fun!
That sure is looking like a quality chassis!👍😊
Yes, pretty nice, solid. I am however a little weary of how hard I can go on it. Still looking for a Pastel grey for the body... Thanks!
Awesome, these parts're looking great and very value.
Hey! yes, quality for sure!
definitely gotta see more of this build, that kit looks awesome,
Hey thanks! It was a delight to assemble. Working on next part. Cheers!

Nice! Thank you! Someone messaged me from the UK saying no one was selling the Rally version there, maybe only the on-road?
Cheers dude!

looking very high end quality 👍
Yes! I’ve not had a chance to try it out yet. Winter here is like Game of thrones winter.
Hoping the parts are tough. Thanks!
Rhat looks like a great kit! I must get a rally car this year, been meaning too for a long time.
Yes! Do it! There are quite a few to choose from. There is even a new M-chassis XM-01 I think? Rally ready. I guess it is 1/14 or something? Cheers
Seems like a great kit!

New sub here... curious, where did you purchase this from? I have been looking online and no retailers carry?
Cheers! So I found it on Wolfram RC. In the US.
@@MauzyrockRC Awesome. I will take a look see. Thanks very much. Love the content so far.

Look at the "similar item" option and there are plenty
Yeah man. Looks like a nice car and I am digging all the metal bits. Another great video bud. Very entertaining. Oh and I like your nuts. BAHAHAHAHA
HAAAAA! Perfect! Yea I like seeing the differences between various kits, quality and assembly etc. Thanks man!!
Hi, are the diff shims around 7:18 included with the kit? Thank you
Hey, yes they are. This is a quality kit for the price. It does not bash though. It is happy on packed small gravel /dirt and loves a race track.
@@MauzyrockRC Thank you, looking forward to assemble mine, I was not sure if I should order any shims too
I would have my first rally car..this carten or tamiya xv02 ? Need advice

Whats your opinion comparing this kit with ptg2r..is the chassis strong enough ? And the plastic quality as well ?
