Certainly is an awesome rig, so scale. As for WRC, I follow it online, however I don't have the time to go to where it is happening unfortunately. I would however have gone to see it in Wales, were it there, as I have relatives to visit there too! Cheers!

Such a fun and realistic RC. Being able to switch between 4-2WD(RWD) is pretty fun for hooning. But the suspension is what really gets me going. Heh song was a bit of fun :). Thanks for checking in dude!

Hey great! That is decent ground clearance. So I think this kit already has bearings (very important) so yes, I would go with the tamiya upgraded steering assembly. Should be a sweet ride!

@@MauzyrockRCYes it includes full ball bearings. I havet driven it enough to really feel the limitations of the stock steering. The tt02R contains some metal parts in the steering but only portions of it. How does an upgraded steering feels compare to the stock one?

@achmed51 Well the closest things I can compare with are: The aluminum one I added to the TT02 rally build here, along with some modding to allow for wider throw, works a charm, smoother. The other is on my TT02BR. A more hopped up kit. The steering is super smooth there also. However I can’t remember if it was aluminum or not.

Hey thank you! So the hot glue was shared with by Mark Bryan RC. Essentially the hot glue helps keep small stones from getting caught in the steering linkage. Cheers

Hey, so I have not yet tried the PTG. On my list. So the chassis is pretty tough. I wouldn’t send it or anything. But sturdy. The parts are all pretty decent quality. I have been racing it and it is awesome! Cheers

Well, where would you be running it? So I think the XV02 is higher quality. I think more expensive. Very Capable without modding it. Very tuneable. The carten is Also really good for the price point. I have been racing it and doing well with it. They are both pretty good places to start honestly. I think the XV02 is somewhat better overall, but The carten is pretty awesome. Not sure you would go wrong with either choice.

Awesome thank you!! So we have not had any events other than lap races (stock and mod) and a few bash sessions. As for the drifting, I’ve only ever tried it with Mini-Zs on smooth floors. I really have to try out proper drifting! Yeah Rally cars are my fav! Cheers!

I think they are guides or shims to keep the shaft from flopping about. I could be wrong.

@@MauzyrockRC Thanks for your quick reply. I believe the term for them are driveshaft replacement caps, which prolong the life of the drive cups and driveshafts.
