      As I was watching the video, I could right away that Phyllis is a very fine respectable woman and was so nice to see how both sides were just so happy. I grew up like Phyllis with different dad then my siblings and my story was the opposite how it ended up. So when I see how families like this that were so genuine it really made my day.

    It's so cool how God continues to teach using this family. This story about his new found daughter from 45 years ago is a visual representation, in flesh, of how even the patriarch of this God fearing family has had a dark past. God turned his sin into a blessing and a teaching tool to show millions of people that this will not tare their family apart, they will not be divided or bitter, they will welcome her into their lives and continue to be happy happy happy as long as they have Jesus in their lives. Amazing

      Except Phil isn't a good Christian. He judges people everyday, and he himself is the biggest sinner I've ever known. He cheated on his wife dozens of times, and nearly murdered a man and hid in the woods to not take responsibility for it. He is not a Christian, he just is afraid of burning in hell for all the terrible shit he's done. Like use the Bible to steal money from all you idiots.

    I am adopted and one of the best days of my life was when I got to meet my bio dad for the first time. I was 30 years old. There is nothing like blood relation. I felt like I had always known him. All the missing links of my personality came together. I had met my bio mom one year earlier and she and I share athletic ability, blond hair and a soft spoken voice. He and I have a deep thinking melancholy perfectionistic personality, we collect writing instruments and do calligraphy and neither of us wake up very well before 9am. We had a lot of laughs discovering all that. The best part is that I was able to give him my personal bible and 11 years later at his funeral I was able to hear that he had received Jesus! Blessings to all of you for sharing your precious story!

      As a mom of twin adopted boys I am both so happy for you and yet feel very sad. When you said there’s nothing like blood relations, it hurt my heart, for your adoptive parents. Although I don’t know your situation and don’t want to compare it to mine. Just please if possible give your adoptive parents a hug.

    • @davidandshera744
      @davidandshera744 4 роки тому +2

      @@MommaRose956 I’m sorry if my story made you sad. Hopefully I can encourage you by saying you are the best gift to your boys as my adoptive mom and dad were to me. My adoptive my was my best friend ( she died of lung cancer before I met my bio dad). They always told me I was adopted and said it was doubly special because they really wanted me. One day when I was about 28 my adoptive mom initiated and said “we should pray to find your bio mom” so we did. Soon after that the court found some identifying info for me (mine was a closed adoption). I wrote a letter to my bio mom with my phone # and she called and said she wanted to meet me. After we met then a few months later she met my adoptive mom and I have a photo of them together. A year later my adoptive mom died from cancer...it’s like she knew. Then I met my bio dad after that (longer story). Anyway I share all that with you because what I wrote about blood is true but also what I didn’t write is that my adoptive mom will always remain the most important person in my life! You are the best gift to your boys!

      I honestly feel that it was not a problem for her. When she forgave Phil, she forgave ALL of him. That included things she didnt know about...yet. She knew that it was a possibility. When this was revealed, she was tested. She could have gone ballistic or remain humble. She chose to be humble. When we forgive someone. We have to do it fully, or God isnt going to forgive us fully. He knows the heart at that moment. So, God allowed things to happen, in order to test her. She mentioned that she knew that someone would come from his past. When she read the letter, she said it was true. God didnt only give Phil a daughter. He gave Kay a daughter as well, thru another mother.

And I have a younger sister and brother I never knew I had on my dads side. It’s been almost a year and me and my dad txt almost everyday and talk on the phone sometimes. He’s an Amazing man and I feel so blessed to have finally found him! He never knew I existed. He was very young when I was conceived and he wasn’t walking with God at that time in his life. I’m hoping to get to finally meet him sometime this summer. I am also very excited to get to meet my brother and sister and lots of family from my dads side as well! God is so Amazing!!

      @skharri18 i understand where you're coming from, but if you're so much better, you would be respecting their beliefs. Respecting others beliefs is what makes you mature. Showing you know the good and the bad but continuing to only disrespect what you assume all Christians do , shows how damn ignorant and immature you are. To me, you are the only immoral one here. Just because you disagree, doesn't mean you have any right, whatsoever, to bash anyone at all period. Now be gone ingnoranus.

    I cried like a baby when Phil recited Romans 8:28, both times I listened to this broadcast. Please don't call your audience Philistines, it puts a barrier between you and us, and as you can see in all these comments, we are all the same, we have very similar experiences with sin and with grace. Calling your audience Unashamed Nation implies that we are all accepted in the beloved (Ephesians 1:6) and all part of God's one family in Christ. It incorporates the American idea of being one nation under God, and it reminds us that we have been set free from sin, shame, guilt, and death. Yahoo! That's really good news!

I felt like I knew Jesus, but then my wife dragged me back into church, and it changed my walk with Jesus. I made a MEANINGFUL repentance, and my life completely changed when I invited Jesus back into my life out loud and in front of my church family. I've allowed this to consume my thoughts at times, and it has been a deep source of sadness for me, but the truth is that my Heavenly Father is happy to acknowledge me and He is more than enough to satisfy me. Hi Phil.
    I watched this and just wanted to say to you, God bless you.
    Owning your actions, even ones that you may not be proud of, is an act of faith. Faith that God runs the universe.
    And the truth is that only good comes from Above.
    Your daughter is an example of that!

      Amen. My daughter and I did too. I named my son Silas. He made us laugh at a time we needed it most!
