- Kathleen and band do an inspired rendition of Goodnight California live. The June 2012 concert (with a full band!) consisted mostly of new songs off her latest record - Voyageur. She mixed it up with a couple tunes off each of her other albums. If Kathleen comes anywhere close to you, don't miss her live performance. You will not be disappointed. Please support this talented Canadian singer songwriter. Buy her records .
Kathleen has written so many exceptional songs, so many I love to hear over and over, but to me, this is her masterpiece. (so far)
Same. Always in my playlist. Glad that I came across this song
Actually, there are TOO MANY Songs that I could Appreciate that HIT HOME and "STRIKE MY CHORDS"!
Her FAILURE Album has Several and "The HOCKEY Tune" with its McSorley video is Truly AMAZING Too!
Check THIS Out!
SERIOUSLY....
It's F-F-Fab-FABULOUS!!! ❤
Wonderful song, and Cord’s solo-phenomenal!!
I swear the first time I heard it on Asking For Flowers I listened to it 12 times in a row and never lost the emotion.
Yes! I can agree. Yesterday evening I heard it for the first time and couldn't believe it! What a wonderful song.
One of the most beautiful songs of all time.
Hauntingly beautiful....her fiddle solo transition to his guitar solo was seamless. The ending of that song was a band that was completely inspired. Great stuff!
Great version. Agree with you all, if she comes near you, go see her, she's what live music is all about.
She’s a wonderful artist
This is a fantastic song on the album but lifts off to another level live
Kathleen is a wonder
Tears come to my eyes with this impressive performance...
This song recently dropped into my Spotify playlist, thank you Spotify 👍 hauntingly beautiful song
OMG! I always loved this on the CD: so spooky, groovy and trippy, and on a folk/country album no less! But this live performance is awesome. It's two minutes longer than the album version, but it doesn't dip for a nanosecond.
Thanks for one of my favorite songs from KE--your words about seeing her live are so true--people need to go see her---support her because she is so good.
i had to come back for more
She came dancing across the water.
With her violin, guitars and drums.
Searching for a New World
And a musical palace, in the Sun.
Thanks Sara, play safe!
Yes, I hear Neil here too!
When she grabbed her guitar, she was kinda moving around like Poncho ...
One of the best written songs , for nowt said to have a reaction . The album version is one to remember . Beautiful

She has a great road band. I kinda miss Hannah on back-up vocals.
This song goes straigh to the Heart

Magnifique..

Check out “Total Freedom,” her new album. The launch from her coffee shop is up here, too.
Superb
Wonderfully moving
Beautiful. Thanks for posting that.
Great song and the video is pretty good for a single camera .
Wow!! Never heard this song from her before. A wild Grateful Dead, meets Led Zep, meets War-on-Drugs side of Kathleen... Love, love, love this song now!!!
Take a look to Sarah harmer,City and colour
The Neil Young inflence.
Like Van Gogh she makes beauty out of her pain.
10/10 - Kathleen the great!
my favorite genius
Jesus this isexcellent.
I have seen some great music Kathleen Edwards on UA-cam before, and this is the first time I've seen her play the violin. And now, I like her music a lot more. By the way, how many instruments does the Canadian performer play? Thanks for posting her music on UA-cam.
KE is a force of nature
Great lyrics.
...suddenly it became a Neil Young song.
❤️
Fab. Loed it. Slight whiff of Cortez what a killer, Neil young.

Another Canadian...
colin cripps is rockin out
Shades of Lucinda Williams.........

+Georg Karlstetter (freudensammler) Gord Tough
Don't know, but listen to Greg Leicz on the album version. Gorgeous.
i am not looking for love
Still Resonates like a Muthafucka
what album is this live track on ?
I don't think there is a live version on a cd (could be wrong) but the studio version is on Asking for Flowers
wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
The B-side of this song should be titled 'Good Morning Vladivostok'
That fiddle and lead guitar (and Kathleen's singing) are stellar. But the drums are distracting me. Too peppy with the constant symbols. But Kathleen brings me back because she is awesome.
This lead guitarist name. NOW!
+Noland Trombley. Gord Tough
+steve wihak Thanks, man.
Noland and Steve, when (decades ago) i was young, my English Professor said about "The Great Gatsby," "There is not one Unnecessary Word in This Book..." So with Gord's solo...a model of economy and fluency...Note when the crowd applauds him, he mouths "Thank You," while staying in the background. What a Professional...Thanks, Gord...
