if i were you ... i would put only coolant and even to make it better i would take out all the liquid from the ref and put only coolant for high temperatures water rusts the inside of the old ref ... better not to put again there is a small liquid that closes small licks on the ref use half of the bottle and see ... the bottle is very small like 100ml stay healthy stay cool
Damn man, i almost commented on the last video when you said you fixed the leak with stopleak, that that stuff can clog up more than just leaks, and to keep an eye on your water temp. But i didn't want to be a negative nancy and just hoped it would be fine. The dirty water is just the residue in the engine and radiator, draining the old dirty water doesn't fix it, you need to flush it until it runs clear. And yes it's rust from inside the engine block, very common and nothing to worry about unless it's been rusting away for 50+ years. As for the overheating, it may not be the stopleak that did it although that stuff doesn't help. You weren't sure if the pump was working i believe at one stage, and you also don't know if the thermostat is working, or if it has one at all as some people just remove them when they don't work instead of replacing them and this all reduces the cooling efficiency. Get the cooling system checked out and work out the cause before you start guessing and throwing fixes at it. Give me a holler if you want some advice on how to fault find the issue. That mechanic should be able to figure it out though, if he's any good :P

Stop leak clogs thermostats sometimes. Change that, flush, and use coolant instead of water.

Get a new radiator and the hoses. It is cheaper than replacing the motor.
