Hey there. The newer carboflexes seem to be a bit stiffer compared to the older generation. It will come down to preference as some players enjoy the stiffer feel of the Airshaft compared to the Heritage.
I love my SC Revelation 125. My only gripe is that the grommet is super fragile. I first I thought it was just a fluke when a piece broke off after the ball hitting the beam, but after some investigation it seems like it applies to all the Revelations. For me that itself is not the real issue. The real issue is that replacements are sold out EVERYWHERE. I got an email back after making an inquiry to a seller in the UK and they said it could be several months before they’re back in stock 🫠
Hi David Yeahs that’s rather odd, considering it’s a relatively new racket 🤣 Maybe they’re sold out due to how fragile they are. I hope you find something soon 👌🏾
Hey Mo. I can only speak regarding the Pro Lite. A phenomenal racket. Depending on what you’ve played with before, you might have to get used to the smaller handle. There may be some dead spots at the top of the racket from what I’ve heard, when it comes to mishits but I cannot comment on the Pro and Ultimate 132. I have friends which love each one of these because it suits their style of play. I would suggest trying them out.
Hey Kai Covered it in last years’ video: I Played With 6 Different Rackets In 2022 / What I Liked and Disliked / + Rackets I Want To Try 2023 ua-cam.com/video/hmpyw_uw8WI/v-deo.html
if i am a 13 year old rapidly improving player who is very short but quick, what racket should i buy? I have a lot of power but cant fully utilize it because i always am running around
Hey there. I am not too sure how you've linked your lack of power to your racket, but you could try lowering your string tension a bit to get more 'power' out of your shots. Model movements of shorter players and learn about the French philosophy around moving on court.
Hey Bernard Not particularly sure. I’m sure that will be top secret information, but I think the new technology (no-bumper) and reinforcement of the racket head to provide this feature has changed the weight distribution of the racket. squashgearreviews.com/tecnifibre-carboflex-x-top-review/ If you check through the table in this link, you’ll see the weight distribution is different on Airshaft and XTop models of the same racket. I think it comes down to preference in the end.
@@thesquashbagel interesting! Both Yousef Soliman and Hania El Hammamy initially started using the Xtop and switched back to the air shaft within weeks
Yeah and for a long time, Dessouky used the old Airshaft as well as the X Speed instead of the XTop. But if you can find something that you’re happy with, stick to it 👌🏾
@thesquashbagel - love this video!! However, I’m a bit curious. Have you tried James Willstrop signature racket from Unsquashable? I’ve just purchased it and compared to my slash 120 and supreme 125 I absolutely love it and I’m considering switching from a classic shaped racket to a teardrop. It is amazing on the long shots and the short shots. Overall it is a really good racket that is really easy to play with.
Hey there. Thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately Unsquashable do not sell in South Africa yet. I understand they might be brining in their shoes into SA next year, and can only hope that they bring some rackets in as well. I’m glad you love it though and it would be interesting to find out if there’s any major difference between that and the Raw Pro 2.0 at the same weight.
Great video and super informative! What would you say is the main differences between the Technifibre Carboflex Heritage 125 and the Airshaft?
Hey there.

Thanks - that helps 😊

What about head speed 120 slimbody?
Didn’t get to try it.
Not very popular amongst these parts.

Excellent je viens de trouver d’occasion quasi neuve une NG 130 hâte de l’essayer
I managed to get 3 recently so I’m quite chuffed that I can play with them again 👌🏾
@@thesquashbagel et vous l’aimai toujours autant ?
Very much so.
The only racket that’s similar to it is the TF Slash… but the Suprem NG is unmatched for me.
@@thesquashbagel j’ai joué avec les deux cet aprèm ! La Suprêm ng est beaucoup plus puissante !
Est ce que tu as changé le cordage d’origine ?

Tecnifibre 305 1.10mm at 24 lbs is my favorite setup.
I hope you enjoy the racket.
Great video! What’s the difference between the air shaft and Xtop models? A lot of the pros don’t seem to want to move to the xtop for some reason
